William Audas
I did not find William Audus listed in the Childress Cemetery record book. There was a William
Andas who died July 24,1925 that may be him. He was listed in Section P, Block 564, Lot 2, Grave _.

I'm sorry, but I did not find either name in that area. It's an old part of the cemetery with lots of open spaces.

Sam and Sarah Brown
You posted a photo of Sam S. Brown, husband of Sarah Embry Coats Brown. Do you have a photo of her? Are you related to them?

RE: William & Elma Geistwhite
You're welcome. In looking thru them again, I think all of them need a re-take. I know there is writing on top of Audrey's marker. To much rain, very reflective. Happy Halloween(heres hoping all we all survive the Election)!

Hi, The good news is I have some photos for you. The kinda bad news is the Elma & William photo looks really bad. I always take much better photos than how that one came out. The reason being for the past month+ or so we have had the wettest September/October ever in Spokane.
As you can tell by looking at the photo, in the bottom right corner of the marker, under William there was bunch of mud that wanted to stay there. Got it out, but all that mud is in the letters. Muddies everything and not at all like my typical great looking photograph.
So, if you will remind next March 1st or after March 1st.
I will go out and re-take photo again. The difference will be incredible.
Just remind me of their names. No idea of if we are going to have a hard Winter, mild or not. Even so though, frozen mud is no fun to deal with. So, until next March.
P.S. Check out Wayne Ross Geistwhite and Audrey Cochrane. They have photos now. Sue

If you call Acacia Park Cemetery and Mausoleum at 773-625-7838 and:
1. Ask if your photo request person has a headstone / grave marker.
2. If there is a headstone / grave marker ask for the section, block, lot and grave number.
3. If you send that information to me, Susan (#48964989) I will go there and fulfill your photo request. Of course any other Find A Grave volunteer can also fulfill your request if you then add the headstone location information to your photo request page.
Good Luck.

John Henry Jordan
Hi: I research the "other" John Jordan, who married Therath Catharin Liptrot in Houston Co, GA. I totally agree with you. So many have mixed the two families together and really confuses others. Also, some will not listen or read the information to get the proper documentation. But I really love to get my documentation before siting any information as correct. I have tons of documentation showing the difference in the families as well as the similarities. Thank you for noticing the difference. Thank you for all you do to keep Find A Grave free for us all.
