I enjoy wandering through cemeteries and reading the stones to learn about people who have gone before and see how they are remembered by their loved ones. I think it's important to preserve the stones and the memories of those gone before.|
I have researched my Zinn and Rose family histories since the mid 1980s, and I've made many friends while doing so, some of whom are also relatives ;). It amazes me how the characteristics of one generation are passed to the next, and I love learning about the people; not just the dates and places.
Some of my photos have a note attached requesting that if you want to use photos I've taken, to please ask permission. I was hoping to make connections with other researchers, as well as offering better resolution photos. I've found that's not working so well. I'm slowly getting that note removed, but in the meantime, please consider this to be your permission to use tombstone photos that I've taken for your personal use.
I strive for accuracy and clarity when I post a memorial, but mistakes sometimes happen; please let me know of errors and I will promptly make corrections.
I send Edits and/or Other Suggestions from a variety of sources. If you want me to provide documentation after having received an Edit from me, please feel free to contact me and request it, and I'll happily oblige.

|Reed Roderick||memorial transfers|
I received the transfers for the 4 Schildknecht memorials to my account.
|Reed Roderick||Charles E Schildknecht|
Thanks for your prompt response. Yes, I will accept the memorials. My wife is a Schildknecht. Charles is actually a very distant cousin. Most of the Schildknechts in Andrew county are descendants of John Schildknecht (1804-1881). Charles is a descendant of John's brother.
|Kathy and Norm Evans||Hazel Taylor.|
Thank you for sponsoring Aunt Hazel. I will be getting with her daughter in next couple weeks to have her decide on pictures to post.
|J.Sullivan||Oh Thank You!|
A few flowers, but I never expected sponsorship. I am honestly overwhelmed. Thank you so much for your generosity and caring. This one is so special to me.
Thank you so much for sponsoring my beloved great-great-grandmother Catharine Brockman.

|kbrady||issac Zinn and daughters|
Issac was my great grandfather, his daughter Hattie was my grandmother. I don't see her name listed in the children. Hattie was married to Dee Cooper, until he died of TB she then married a man named Boatwright until her death of TB. My mother was raised by her grandmother, I am not sure what her name was.
If you happen to have any info on anyone connected to Hattie I would certainly be most grateful to hear from you.

My wife and I thank you for sponsoring her Dad's memorial!
|Sharon Adams||RE: Joy Z Brumley obit|
Who is the memorial creator. Not sure how to read who's who on this site. Thanks
|Sharon Adams||Joy Z Brumley obit|
Curious where the obit info came from? A few details are incorrect, but if the Brumley children provided the info for the obit then this info is what their mother told them and I'll leave it alone. I'd appreciate a reply so I can put my genealogy to rest. Thank you. Sharon Adams
