Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in genealogy for over twenty years. When I found the findagrave website, I found it extremely helpful in researching my Kelley family.

After having my photo requests filled by volunteers, I wanted to give back to the findagrave community and became a volunteer myself.

My husband now helps me, and we incorporate our findagrave hunts with weekend motorcycle rides.

William Allen Kelley Family Photo
Hi. I'm hoping you know whether the Ann in the photo at William Allen Kelley's memorial is his daughter Dilly Ann or his daughter Mary Ann?

Hi Kathy,
You are welcome for the photo. Too bad there is not a marker there, but I'm sure his plot is very close to the center of the photo.

correction needed
Huntingdon County Historical Society was asked to research the place of burial of a Robert Henry Kelley (1896-1935). We found the death certificate which we suspect you used for your posting the grave on Find A Grave. It does indicate Mount Pleasant Cemetery, but we have researched the one of that name in Huntingdon County (aka Cooks Mills) and his marker is not out there. From his death certificate we found his parents and his wife, all of whom are buried in: Byron Run, also called Black Log, Cemetery, along Blacklog Valley Road, Lack Township, Juniata County. We googled the cemetery and found a transcription posted on RootsWeb that shows Robert Henry Kelley (1897-1935) interred there. I can't explain the Mount Pleasant name but it is always possible that is an obsolete name for the cemetery up in Black Log. The address of the undertaker on the death certificate is Mount Union, which is nearer to Black Log than to Cooks Mills (Mount Pleasant). Hope this all makes sense to you.
