Bio and Links
Bio Photo Researching these families on my side:
Beamer, Curry, Ebecke, Hahn, Jerome, McFarland, Napp and Porter

And these families on my husband's side:
Batchelder, High, Krecklow, Lane, Northup, McClain, Rathbun and Tennant

Most of the memorials I manage are family members (although some quite distant). I welcome any additions and corrections.

I'm happy to transfer any memorial to a closer family member.

Thank you to all those members who have taken headstone photos.

RE: Chapman headstone photos
You are welcome! Regarding the misspelling, I wonder if the stonecutter ever DID make a boo-boo!

RE: Elizabeth Stewart
You're welcome. There was a marker for Ronald Stewart (1866-1919) and another marker that just read "Stewart". Lakewood's website shows Elizabeth, Emma, James, Ronald & Thomas Stewart in the plot.

RE: Tennant's & Denton's
You are welcome Cathy.

I have not been to the other gravesite as yet. I try to go to the sections where the majority of the requests are located to accomplish as much as I can at one time. I know there are a few requests in the 100's section. I will try to knock those out the next time I get there.

RE: George & Mary Young headstone
I did photograph other memorials. I looked for your Curry family but did not find any of the names you were looking for. I wondered if they were related to an Isaac, who has a CURRY stone with the inscription "Isaac Curry and Family"? There was a Curry stone that was VERY difficult to read. The only names on there that were legible were William Curry 1822-1905 and under him Robert Curry

Mary or Naomi Decker Metler
Cathy
Could you forward me a picture of the headstone or inscription you cite on "Mary Decker Metler" headstone.
I am using a book, "Beamer Lore" from 1928 that cites 4 children of Peter Decker and Lena Beamer, Martin b. 1784; Mary Decker M. John J Sammons; Naomi Decker m. Moses Metler of North Pelham; and Elizabeth Decker m. Geo. Oille of Fort Stanley
The Minisink Dutch Reformed Church repeatedly cites John J. Sammons and wife "Sarah" Decker baptizing their children over the years and on 3 occasions doing them the same day in that church with I believe his wife's brother Martin Decker b. 1784 and his wife Huldah Cuykendall, so it is pretty confusing. I am trying to do a DAR Application for Martinus Decker b. 1733 for my line and am trying to connect Martin b. 1784 to his dad Peter b. 1760 and his dad Martinus b.1733
Thanks!

RE: headstone photos
Thank you for catching this and for bringing it to my attention Cathy. I should know better to be working on non-family members at 4 in the morning before having coffee. Please accept my sincere apologies for having mislead you.

I had some interaction with the staff at the cemetery on the day I was there, and they were very helpful. I'd encourage you to contact them at +1 613-448-3112 as they may be willing to photograph the stone for you.
