Retired in 2005, and was led into family searching by a friend. Am hooked, lined and sunk. Found this website by accident and it has been a boon already. My family interests are Murdocks in Crawford Co. KS and Noble Co. Ohio, Burch and Jones around Carlinville IL. There are naturally many other branches. If anyone out there is searching these let me know and we can compare notes. I am relatively new at this game so don't have a lot, but have managed to find a couple of relatives that had been "lost". |
I have posted memorials for people who are no relation, but they were in a cemetery I was walking. If there are errors, transfer of ownership, deletion requests let me know and it will happen.

|Bev Clark||Ella Mae Hale Rushing (1867 - 1949)|
My name is Beverly Ann (Hail) Clark. I an a great great grand daughter of William L. Hail (Daniel J. Moore) and Martha Elvira (Grantham) Hail and a long time Hail and Murdock ancestry researcher. I see that you have an Ella Mae (Hale) Rushing, 1867 - 1949, listed as one of the children of William & Martha's children. Unless there was someone in the wood pile that just surfaced, they only had four children, four sons: Joseph Benjamin, William Clark, James Garrison and John Wesley. Joseph use the "Hale" spelling and maybe John did also from time to time. But they had no sisters.

Dear MMurdock: May I copy the picture of Charlotte Elizabeth (Lottie) Hickox Griffin to my Ancestry listing for her, and also on my webpage on my family history website? I have the credit information from this listing of yours. She was the wife of my 2nd Great Grand Uncle. Thank you. Joann.

Would you consider making a transfer of M. L. Townsend to me? No, I am not a relative as no one seems to known who he was related to for sure. I do quite a bit of research on Kingman County. M. L. Townsend was surely and interesting person. I have found quite a lot of information about his life that I would like to post it. Everyone deserves to be remembered.
Thank you for considering this request.

Would you consider transferring Aaron Robinson's memorial page to me? My wife is one of his direct descendants. Also, can I copy your headstone photograph (credit will be given).

|Sue Tanner||Bornholdt, Peter H..|
Hi, Just wondering if you have anymore info on the above named person. I have a Katie Bornholdt buried here in Spokane, Wa and would like to link her to her husband. She was B. in 1872 and in Germany. All I have on her husband is his initials--P.H. and the fact that they divorced. One son by name of Charles or Carl.

|Margaret Meyer||My Great Grandfather's monument|
Thanks for getting a picture of Herbert Ashton Norton's gravestone. It also has his second wife's name, Mabel on it. My grandfather was from Herbert's first marriage to Mary Alice Wells who was known as Allie. My great grandmother died young in her early 40's. Actually, my mother was one year older than her uncle, because of my great grandfather marrying again later on and having children with Mabel.
Are you related or did you get a picture of it for someone else?
Oh, and I like your kilt.
