DO NOT SEND EDITS WITH LINKS TO BURIAL UNKNOWN MEMORIALS. I will decline.

I try to verify all EDITS sent to me before accepting. If I can't verify, I'll attempt to contact you before declining. I will decline the edit if I ask for a source and none is sent within two days.

As the wife of an Army veteran, any time I come across the memorial of a military person a flower is left to honor them.

I use Familysearch.org for volunteering on Findagrave and no longer have access to images on Ancestry.

Remember some headstones do not have the correct dates - mistakes do happen.

USE THE EDIT TAB when Requesting a transfer, DON'T SEND A MESSAGE!
Tell me how you are related, or through friendship, and be sure to include your contributor #. Sure makes it easier for the transfer to be made. You are already at the memorial and I don't have to go and look it up. THANK YOU! I rarely refuse a transfer request for memorials not in my family tree.

USE THE EDIT TAB FOR:
...incomplete/incorrect dates or spellings, etc?
I'm only human, my fingers don't always hit the right keys, and my eyes don't always catch the errors. Thanks for helping.

**IMPORTANT**
You DO need my permission to save to your computer, any pictures of people, families, etc, that I have added to memorials.

**You do not need my permission to use photos of grave markers I have added, as long as you are not going to profit from using them. I have taken these photos so that no matter how much the marker deteriorates, at least they are available in the condition I found them.

In 2014 we visited 11 local cemeteries and took pictures of grave markers. We find we know people in every one of them, and it's like having a visit with old friends.

What a great group of people make up the Findagrave Community.
