Bio Photo Hello...

All requests for transfers should be done through the EDIT tab, select the suggest a correction tab on the memorial, that you would like...and please do not forget to add YOUR Findagrave number. This is the method that I prefer because it is easier for me.

Transfer guidelines always apply. Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Thank you.

We often wonder if the new memorials we create make a difference. This one definitely did. I had lost track of my sister and hadn't heard from her since last Thanksgiving. I was browsing ancestry.com for some other family details when I ran across the FAG notice for my sister. It wasn't the news I wanted to see, but it answered my nagging question. Thanks so very much for creating the memorial, without which, I might still be wondering for years what ever happened to her.

Corrections to Daniel Hogan info
You quote the newspaper death notice that Daniel Hogan died at the home of his daughter, but in brackets it says near Ft. McCoy. He did die at his daughter's home but it was at least 15 miles and across the river from Ft. McCoy in a community called Conner. He was not buried next to his wife in Ft. McCoy because he told his daughter he didn't want to be taken across the river. He was afraid he might get dumped in the river accidentally. At least that's what my great grandmother, Donie Hogan Wellhoner said.

RE: Virginia Overstreet
Hi, Dave,

Thanks so much for your help!

Neva and her first husband, Fred, were divorced. She married her second husband in 1944, not that long after her children were born. She's buried with Fred, but with her second husband's surname. Kind of ironic that she and Fred died 9 days apart. Sort of makes you think they were meant to be together, but pretty tough on the kids.

Take care.

RE: Ruby Tullis
I believe that some stones take longer to get in place than others. I do know that in the event of no insurance and because of a big financial hit, if they set up a payment plan, it will not be placed until all payments are made. I have been watching one location at Westover Cemetery for 5 months... and they actually now have a footer dug for the stone.

Put in another request as a reminder for me in 5 or 6 months and I will recheck for a stone.

Dan E. Liebenow
RE: Greetings
Sorry for the confusion on William Liebenow's memorial #176772134. While he was my uncle, I did not create the second memorial #176794309. It was created by Find A Grave Contributor #47366941. My reason for asking that you delete yours, even though created first, is that the second is more comprehensive. The result at the present time is that the memorials of Mr. Liebenow's parents and siblings have a duplication. I would hope that this can be rectified amicably.
Respectfully,
Dan E. Liebenow

William "Bud" Liebenow: This is a duplication of #176794309. PLEASE DELETE. Mr. Liebenow was my uncle (father's brother). Thank you.
