I have been working on my family genealogy since approx. 2001, and I became a "junkie" very quickly. I live in the Seattle area where my family has lived for over 6 generations, coming primarily from Ohio and Florida. |
I have been working with my Aunt Sharon ("sharon") since 2005, adding our shared genealogy to findagrave from my husbands side of the family, adding all the information under her membership (#46795073). We have connected with so many generous volunteers all over the United States who have located and photographed family headstones for us. We both try to return the favor when ever we are asked to, and are so grateful to findagrave for this service, which has added so much to our research. We never would have been able to accomplish so much without findagrave, and the generous volunteers that are members.
I am researching: Smith, Ristine, Kipp, Ingersoll, Cunningham, Bishop, Bean, Moose, Kivett, Platt and Golnick, as well as many other branches of these names. I have been blessed to have connected to many members of my family, who have been working on genealogy much longer than I have, and have been so generous to share their hard work with me, which has given me a great base to build upon.
Most of my entries are relatives. If you are too, I would love to hear from you and compare notes. Please include "findagrave" in subject line with any correspondence.

|Mary D||RE: Mary Carter|
I transferred Mary Carter to you. Please accept my condolences for your loss and extend my sympathy to your wife. My mother passed earlier this year and it was a difficult time for all of us.
I absolutely LOVE the picture you chose for her obituary. She looks like she was a character who would be easy to love.

I noticed that you created a memorial for Eugene Carter. His second wife, Mary Carter, recently passed away. She was married to Thomas Franklin Bean, so I thought you might want to fill in another hole in your genealogy research. (I couldn't find a memorial for Thomas Bean.)
I'm not related, so if you want to manage her, I'll be happy to transfer the memorial.

Two of us looked again but could not locate. I can not delete the request for you. It appears to be unmarked.

We could not find a marker. Do you know if she has one?
