Bio and Links
Bio Photo I found Find A Grave while looking up the grave of a famous person on a computer terminal where I used to work, in early 2004. I continued to look up other graves, & eventually was hooked.

Every Cemetery is hallowed grounds.
They are an important key to our past.

Please teach Your children that cemeteries & grave markers are a specific location where human beings are permanetely buried, and that they are to be respected, and not damaged or destroyed in any way, shape, or form.
Cemeteries are very educational, they are very serene, & can be one of the safest places to be in. I have had many hobbies throughout my life;
But "Graving" has given me a very rewarding,
inner peace that I will never find elsewhere.

Sandman,

The tribute you left for Sharon was very touching. I knew her as a child . . . her grandparents lived up the street from me in Brave, PA.

I have attached a copy of a mini bio on her grandfather, Dick Rush, which I hope you will be kind enough to add to his findagrave.com site.

Dick was born on the Hoy Hill Road in Gilmore Township in Greene Co., PA to Andrew Rush (son of James Rush and Elisa Ann Eisiminger) and Elizabeth Jane Main (daughter of Sabeus and Margaret Minor Main).
In 1919, Dick married Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Tustin, the daughter of William and Alice Barnhart Tustin.  Dick and Lizzie had three children:  Albert Duane 'Bud' (1920-1999), married to Alberta Williams; Ruth Aldine married to Steve Malesick and Allen L 'Pucker' (1924-1994) married to Naomi Joyce Haught.
Dick was a lifelong resident of the Pine Bank, Gilmore Township, Greene Co., PA and Brave, Wayne Township, Greene Co., PA area.  He was a charter member of the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Company and a member of Kent's Chapel United Methodist Church.  He worked at the Peoples Natural Gas Company station in Brave, PA for over 37 years retiring in 1955.  Dick beganas an ashman and became a boiler repairman.
Copied for 'A Village Called Brave', Gateway Publishing, Copyright 2009.

ADDITIONAL COMMENT:
Dick and Betty (I wasn't permitted to call her Lizzie) Rush lived in a very nice PNG Company owned home beside of the Kent's Methodist Church in Brave; this was on the opposite side of the street from the three duplex houses ... one of which was lived in by their son Duane 'Bud' Rush and his family.

I hope you saw the episode of "Who Do You Think You Are?" with actress Julie Bowen 3/12/17. He is her 3x great grandfather and was an ardent abolitionist and part of the underground RR. The "fearless" statement on his stone refers to this.

Jemima Denning #34510107
I was doing some family research for a friend and ran across the memorial for Jemima Denning. You have her listed as the mother of William Denning but it's not possible, since she would have been two years old when he was born. William was her brother, not her son. Jemima never married. She was the daughter of Charles Denning (mem.# 163337843) and his wife Jemima (Toland) Denning. From records I found, Charles Denning's wife Jemima (Toland) Denning died around 1885, but there is no memorial for her on FindAGrave. She is likely buried in the same cemetery as the rest of her family.

SJ Katzenstein
Hi, SJ Katzenstein was my great-grandmother's brother. I was wondering if I could use the photograph you have of his mausoleum. Also, you have two death years---1902 and 1901. I believe he died December 7, 1901. Thank you!

Richard Wright Jr
I appreciate the photo you left on Rick s memorial page of the cemetery entrance. I was wandering if you would now delete it so that I can add another picture. I would eventually like to sponsor all my memorial pages so that love ones and friends could add special pictures to them as well. Thank you for your dedication and time..it doesn't go unappreciated or noticed. I dot have the hours you have put in so far and hope to give so much back to others as you have and had. Thank you..you are truly inspiring to me. Happy Thanksgiving
