RE: address for Alderman cemetery
I'm pretty sure I've got it now, and will be visiting it in the Fall. Thanks, LAC

Henry Baldowski fag# 66751459
Hi my name is Elizabeth Lewis. Are you related to Henry Baldowski? I noticed you posted a photo of his death certificate. my email is busyliz2005@yahoo.com . My grandmother is Eva Baldowski, a daughter of Rudolf Baldowski. Thank you. Just curious. You know.

RE: address for Alderman cemetery
Yes, this is Mr. Hugh Garis Hotchkiss and his wife Dorothy's address. After searching with Google Maps's drone, I've came to the conclusion that the actual cemetery is across the street and down a bit. Perhaps 583?
Hence the caretaker angle makes perfect sense.

Rah, FINALLY!!

PS: I have many peeps in that cemetery, but one in particular really interests me. It is a cenotaph He is Chesley Alderman, and is actually represented there with a cenotaph. I use him (and his heroic bravery) in my talks to HS kids about the Civil War. They identify, pay attention, listen and learn.

RE: two forms of GPS Alderman
Oh, thank you very much for the other GPS data, as that is the form that our GPS uses. The "translation" is so helpful! Did you find it somewhere, or did you record it yourself? Just curious. LAC

Yes, he has been very diligent and thorough with his photos and bios. West Alderman is a long road.

After I Emailed you I dug a lot more. Almost at the very end of the list of interments in that cemetery (I looked at and read each one....) I came across an important clue. In an obit it mentions that a Mr. Hotchkiss is the caretaker. I was all over that, and off and running to track down the old info and see how much was still valid. LAC

Alderman Family Cemetery
I am trying (desperately!) to find the EXACT location of the ALDERMAN FAMILY CEMETERY (not Alderman/Kennedy) in Statesboro, GA. I seem to only get vague "directions", and they are all different, too. I very much want to visit it this Fall, but need to know where to go! Can you give me good directions, from anywhere in Statesboro to the cemetery? Do you have the GPS coordinates perhaps? That would be great.
Many thanks for your time. Frustrated in muggy N.Fl, LAC

Awesome! You have now confirmed my long standing theory that the mother's maiden name was Huff. My wife is a direct descendant of his brother B.F. Hodges. Thanks again!
