Permission to use your photographs
Hi,
I'm updating my wife's online tree and putting together a small pamphlet for the grandkids. Would it be alright to use your headstone photographs (with proper credit of course)? In particular the headstone for Anthony Morse (Find A Grave Memorial# 49086878). Thank you.

RE: Ned Boone
Are they working on DNA? If you are so sure, then why are all the signs posted about Edward? It seems to me having 2 memorials, simply because you don't like it seems rather childish.

RE: Ruth Andrews
Trust me, I have looked lots of places, including every old book that bears on the family. Notably, if it were substantiated, someone would have sourced it by now, but one have. I have checked LOTS of places, and the only two things that are consistent is that people use other unsourced genealogies as their sources, and other researchers say there is no evidence.

Same as Elizabeth, wife of Joseph, whom some persist in calling Elizabeth Hatch even tho there is no source for that either. What is fun/frustrating there is that they keep manipulating the dates of the only Hatches they can find, but if they push one way she is born the same time as her purported parents, and if they push the other way, she is the same age as her purported children. Sigh.

RE: Ruth Andrews
I don't think there is anything to find. Even the Descendants of Edward Small book, which has very good research (though there are a few mistakes), does not give a maiden name for her. From what I have read, the Tobey family seems to be centered in Sandwich, not Duxbury, There simply does not seem to be a credible link. It would be nice to know how this theory began so you could track it down, but it appears it has simply been copied for so long without question that we may never know.

RE: Ruth Andrews
I understand, and I actually am glad that I saw this because it led to the possible insight as to how they may have connected. But it still doesn't say who Ruth was!

RE: Cornelius Page
You are very welcome. I try to sponsor all of my direct ancestors, when they are not already being sponsored. It is my way of honoring those who came before us and made us what we are today. Regards, Linne
