Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love this site! I love finding relatives, finding relatives of relatives, etc. I get immense satisfaction finding maiden names and family links. I will always try to help others in their quest for family information. If I have added a memorial for one of your relatives, please feel free to send me a note and I will transfer it to you, or update it with more information as you wish.

For all of you volunteer photo takers out there - we owe you a big round of applause for all of the hard work that you do! In return, please use any of my photos freely on any of your family tree sites.

I do ask permission to use photos on my own family tree, giving full credit to the photographer, so I really wish a certain FAGer would stop posting silly and ridiculous error messages on my photo requests - GET A LIFE!

I will post obits on memorials with proper citation. I know some people feel that this info is "private" or "personal" but.... it was PUBLISHED IN THE PAPER FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE. 99% of the time this info is invaluable to genealogists. I have had cemeteries tell me they are private property and those interred there want privacy. If someone truly wants privacy, get cremated and scattered over the ocean, don't put up a huge headstone with your name & dates in flashing lights...... It is like having a huge billboard up on a highway and you are asked not to look at it or read it........SILLY. Taken from Rita Botkin Bomher (#47319873)

Everyone.....please always view your profile page and click on the new edit tab - this is so very important and a much more simplified way of handling SACs.

Hi Roslyn. Thank you for all the work you do. I have relatives lying all over the Troy and Albany cemeteries and the work you do cuts down on my trips from CA. Thank you.
Do you have any idea how you got the family info on

Alexander Morrison

Find A Grave Memorial# 104111756

Emily and Robert Morrison buried Mt Ida with Alexander's first wife are the children of my GGG grandparents James and Amelia Morrison. I am guessing Alexander is related to them but James/ parents are James and Mary. Any background info or sources for names John and Julia would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Kate

Clark craig
That's great thanks. First and foremost, I didn't make the memorial. Secondly he's my great great great grandfather and I KNEW about the first wife but of course could never figure out the second. "Q. V." Or "o.v." Or why it was linked.
That was on my to do list.
So I do appreciate your info and input!

Ps-do you know the families personally? are related? Have photos of Clark? Or even up his line?

Thanks
-jennifer

RE: Mrs. Jacob Landon
Okay, Roslyn. It's done. Had been working on it when you wrote. Unfortunately, I have to download my photos to my preferred computer which won't allow me to crop the photos how I want them so I have to use my other laptop to do the cropping. It's annoying but at least it completes the mission. That's why his photo was on her memorial. I was, in essence, "hiding" him until able to edit the photo.

Knowing that other volunteers have scoured Batavia Cemetery and spending 5 hours just walking it myself last weekend, I'm not hopeful that many more requests will be fulfilled. The sketchy cemetery plot information doesn't make it any easier. These two things combined certainly will discourage most from bothering.

Question: Do you happen to know her first name or any information about her? I've done a preliminary check but haven't come up with anything. Let me know. Thanks.

There is no page for Moshe at Find a Grave. If you add one and put in a photo request, I'll upload the photo of the shared head stone.
