RE: Dusty
Thanks Rosie, I guess I didn't explain very well. With Dusty having to be sedated and the vet poking up his nose, checking his teeth, and all I think they just wanted to wait. All so to see if this medicine works. I really don't think I'd let them operate if it's cancer. He's a old cat. If they could say he'd live another year or two, I'd have to consider it. It's not about the money. I just feel if he has cancer and is not in pain like you said let him enjoy what time he has left. And even operating on him could kill him. Since it's so stressful for him. The best thing probably to let him enjoy himself with what time he has left. I'll just have to wait and see if this medicine works. Then decide what to do if it dosen't. Thanks again your friend Diana. I'll let you know in two weeks what's happening with Dusty.

RE: Hi Rosie
Jason has much improved. He has been up and walking, eating and less confused. He recognizes his family, asking lots of questions.
I am so thankful to God and to you and everyone else who has prayed for Jason. Thank you so much for adding him to your bio page. God bless you Rosie.

Hi Rosie, Did you ever have a cat that sneezed blood? If so what was the cause of it. I took Dusty ( my cat ) to the vets yesterday. They had to keep him overnight. He's almost 14 and had to be sedated so the vet could look at him. They also wanted to get him calmed down. The vet said his ears were clear, teeth good, and nothing up his nose such as a gnat, no fleas, and very clear eyes for a cat his age. But he's well taken care of. Dusty is my cat with attitude he's a fighter. They told me he tried to fight the seditive. Any way they said he either has a sinus infection or cancer. So they gave me a antibiotic to give him for the next 2 weeks it's called Prednisolone. They didn't want to do a biospy for cancer just yet, they felt it would be to much for Dusty at his age. So if he dosen't get better I have to take him back in 2 weeks. And they will do a biospy on him. But other then that he eats, and drinks water, comes to get his scratches and loving. He doe's sleep a lot but I guess that's normal at his age. Sammy slept a lot as he got older. I'm so scared it's cancer. But I've made the decision if it is and he's in pain I'll have him put to sleep. And speaking of cancer I'am one year in remission. So anything you can tell me I appreciate. Your Friend Diana.

Hi Rosie
Thank you for your prayers that Sean is doing better. Unfortunately nothing has really changed. He is still losing weight and his Dr.'s don't know why.

They have changed his diet to help him put on weight, so far it doesn't seem to be working. He is still being monitored closely, to see what else may be going on with him.

Thank you for checking on him Rosie, it means so very much to us both.

RE: Hi Rosie,
Hi Rosie,
Thank you for your prayers. The doctors talked about putting in a mechanical heart if the new heart didn't start beating normally. He is running a fever, due to an infection from the pick line in his neck being in so long. The doctor was able to change it to the other side of his neck. Jason is sometimes experiencing memory problems, at times he doesn't recognize his family. His doctors say not to worry, it's his medication causing him to forget plus he was sedated for so long due to his chest being left open while trying to get his new heart to beat that way it should.
I know what you mean, I worry about the infection and the memory problems. I'll keep you posted.
Thank you again, appreciate your prayers. God Bless you.

Big Sam
Dearest Rosie:

I just saw you put Big Sam on your page. Thank you so very much. We're still in total shock that he's even gone & went so fast. (probably it wasn't to Sam those 2 hours)

Have a nice day!

Thank you, Rosie,
For sponsoring our dog, Jack. It's been a rough couple of weeks. I appreciate you so much! ♥ Thanks also for adding Sophie and Jack to your page. I miss them like crazy. It just seems strange without both of them. Keep saying prayers for us, we definitely need them!

p.s. Thanks to everyone for visiting our dogs ♥

RE: Hi
Chemo went well, Rosie--no problems noted, but did go home and take a nap afterwards. Took anti-nausea pill upon first awakening, and have no problems so far. The chemo also came first with doses of anti-nausea meds. Began taking small meals or snacks of soft foods, like yogurts and soups. But noticed today, one day after chemo, that foods don't taste the same---weak flavors, no sweet tastes. So I can see why some cancer patients may lose weight. I am having success mostly with yogurts, soups, and crackers, so far. I do tire easily, but just go nap if I need it. I went up to the Cancer Center this morning for my Neulasta shot, to help my bones produce more white blood cells, and that was no problem. Did take the prescribed Claritin that is supposed to offset the possible bone pain. Managed to go shopping at Walmart for about 20 minutes to buy more food and supplies, but then dropped into bed for a 2-hour nap! LOL I am doing fine. Just taking it one day at a time.

Love and lots of hugs,

RE: Computer garbage
Thanks, Rosie. I'm beginning to think that my anti-virus software isn't up to snuff, and I just bought it a few weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend. I'll have to search for some alternatives. Too bad that Find A Grave is so vulnerable. They really should do something about it. Take care!
