Born in Danville, Hendricks County, Indiana back in 1971. Since 2000, I have spent most of my free time working on my genealogy from my father's side in Pike County, Indiana, and my mother's side in Wayne County, Kentucky.|
I am formally the Vice-President of the Pike County Genealogy Society in Petersburg, Indiana and have related myself to most of the main families of Pike County.
I also am related to all the Royal Families of Europe past and present. The Kings of ancient Scotland, which was known as Dalriada, are my Great-Grandfathers. The first king of Scotland, Kenneth I (810-858) is my 28th Great-Grand Uncle. There are Royal cousins buried in Danville, Petersburg, and Otwell.
I have also related myself in one way or another to 30 Presidents of the United States. Harry S Truman is my 3rd Cousin, 2 Times Removed.
I have also related myself to 25 Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom. My three favorites are Sir Winston Churchill, David Cameron and of course, Margaret Thatcher.

You have the wrong mother for Benjamin T. Kimbrel. His parents were Thomas L. Kimbrel 67602806 and Mary A. Turley Kimbrel 121048360. Mary is buried at Liberty Cemetery where most of the Turleys are buried. Frank and Mary A. Turley married on June 16, 1870 in Orange County, I believe. They had 3 children Benjamin T., Frank M. and Maude M. Kimbrel Gratzer prior to Mary's death on December 14, 1882. Frank married Mary Belle Johnson on April 17, 1883 in Lawrence County and they then had several children of their own. I think the confusion is a result of Frank's wives having Mary as a first name. Please make the correction for Benjamin. I have asked Nan, the creator of Frank and Maude's memorials, to make the necessary corrections for their memorials. I think we are all interested in making these memorials as accurate as possible because they are such excellent aids for people who are interested in seeking information about their ancestors. I'm a distant relative of Mary Turley Kimbrel's mother Permelia Wright Turley. Fay Wright Denzler

Terry, is there anything you can tell me about Eva and Wm. Edgar Kinman's daughter Ruth's husband Harold Vermillion.
My mother's maiden name was Vermillion and I was born in Rushville, Il. I still have relatives in the area. There was a Harold Vermillion in my family tree. I'd appreciate any information you could send my way. Thanks for sharing on find-a-grave.

Your memorial 132424841 is a duplicate of my memorial 87776567. She was my maternal grandmother's sister.

I see on your Find A Grave page you're VP of the PCGS. My late aunt was once President of the Pike County Historical Society and my grandmother was once their Secretary. They were Mae Reichenbach & Mary Pha Houpt, respectively. If you have any questions, you can contact me on my Find A Grave page thru my email. Thank you.

Terry, in case you didn't notice, it seems the Wabash Valley Genealogy Society Cemetery Committee have added another Find A Grave page for my 4th Great-Grandfather, Jonathan Conger, Memorial # 170922884.
Let me be very clear, the Francis Vigo Chapter of Vincennes, IN erected a headstone for both Mary & Jonathan and a military plaque for my ancestor in the Davidson Family Cemetery where their daughter Elizabeth & her husband Joseph Davidson (my 3rd Great-Grandparents are buried. Jonathan & Mary were NEVER relocated to Davidson Cemetery. They are buried in Conger 1 Cemetery which sits on private land in unmarked graves & are inaccessible. I respectfully request you change your info to say they are buried in Conger 1 Cemetery and never relocated. If you so desire, you are free to contact the Francis Vigo DAR Chapter for verification. The special ceremony for the dedication of their headstone & military plaque occurred in the late 1970's. http://www.ingenweb.org/inpike/Claycon1.htm.
