PLEASE NOTE that I no longer do out of guidelines transfers. I may add links, info., etc., if the source is known, but will not add anything unless a valid source is provided.

From http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=listFaqs#162

"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."

"Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request."

"Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred." But I may transfer some non-direct relatives depending on circumstances.

William Cales
I am not sure if anyone can assist me, but I am hoping so. William Cales was the brother to my 3rd great grandfather James Cales. John Burnside Cales was their father. I am looking for any family documentation to prove that John Burnside Cales was indeed their father. I have some circumstantial evidence but nothing definitive. James Cales married Sarah Buchanan, sister to Williams first wife Margaret Buchanan.

Thank you for any assistance anyone can provide.

RE: Alice A. Brown Photo
Gloria,
You are very welcome and thank you for the compliment. Sorry it's not the Alice Brown you are looking for. Just curious...was your Alice Brown from Indiana? I don't know if you know this or not, but Indiana death certificates are on ancestry.com from 1898 to 2011. So if she did die in Indiana, she probably has a death certificate. Just a thought....

Thanks and have a good day.

Nadine

RE: Hayward Memorial Markers
You are quite welcome. It was a good thing you asked for the photo, or who knows when his marker would have ever been found, as it was totally covered over with dirt. No one would have even known it was there.

RE: Irene Rushmer Photo Request
I was able to use my photo processing program to make the dates readable. The problem is that the photo is copywrited so it cannot be legitimately used without permission. I might be going out to the cemetery today and if I do I'll see if I can get a better shot.
