If you are a relative, PLEASE ask me to transfer care of your loved one's memorial to you by sending an email to the address below, but NOT by leaving a message on this page. Please explain your relationship, and I'll be VERY happy to do so. |
I've added the majority of these memorials to assist you in locating your loved one's final resting place. Now that you've found them, PLEASE take advantage of my work.
PLEASE do NOT ask me to add information to memorials. If the information isn't on the monument, I WILL NOT ADD IT.
PLEASE do NOT use the edit tab on this page to ask me to make changes. I will decline them without comment.

Your message to me:
Sylvanus Hulet #11283212
It was recently brought to my attention that you had posted a 'photo' to Sylvanus' memorial. Would you please be gracious enough to remove it? I find it particularly offensive that anyone would do something like this without first contacting the contributor.

I am really sorry that I have offended you. I am not sure why it did. Our family is very proud of my husband's 4th great grandfather and his service to our country in the Revolutionary War. I thought that others could add additional information and photos to memorials without permission. I was happy that I had found this document and thought it would be good to show it on Sylvanus' memorial. In reading your instructions, I was under the opinion that you did not want others to send you things to add. I will still delete this if you could explain to me why it is offensive. Thank you for all the great work you have done on Findagrave and especially finding and adding the photo of Sylvanus' tombstone.

Just wanted to take a minute to thank you

Thank you for the information. I surmised from the censuses and various articles that Bertha was his birth mother but, his grandmother raised him. I have made changes to the memorial to reflect this. DBT

|J B||Arthur Brown parent link correction|
THANK YOU!!! for sending an edit to correct the links to Arthur and his parents. A big mistake on my part, looks like when adding all the names on the stone I misinterpreted the inscription "their son" and erroneously linked him to the names above instead of linking him to his parents whose names are on the other side of the monument. Thank you for catching the error. Sincerely, Judi

It was either now before the snow or next spring.
Thought that you were prefer it now. The temperature was 0 celsius, so it is one of the last photos till spring. If you every come up to see this cemetery, wait until summer, it is on a gravel side road which I wouldn't attempt in rain or snow.

I am also still working on finding Mary's grave stone for you and hopefully it won't be to long.

You are very welcome. I was glad I was able to find it for you.
|Sherwood Lake||Thank you|
I've been wanting this photograph for a long time. My Dad has taken photos in the past while we were visiting out there but the seem to be missing. Thanks again for your help

Don, thank you for replying to my SAC and for explaining the situation to me. All I saw on the index were two memorials with the same dates and names but in different cemeteries. I sent both members a SAC in hope to get the situation resolved.
Thank you for all the hard work you have done for Find A Grave. It is really appreciated by all of us here.

It's no bother, just annoying that I couldn't find her. ;-)
