Joseph Brabant
Hello,
The Joseph Brabant that you have listed on Find A Grave (#175851965) shows no death place, but he is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in East Tawas, Iosco Co., MI and is listed as buried there with the #175851965.

Could you please remove the listing #175851965 that you have and join him at his burial site with the other members of his family that you have listed at this non-burial site?

Many thanks..he is my husband's gg grandfather.

Regards,
Marta

Jacob "Jake" Elzinga
http://resolver.kb.nl/resolve?urn=ddd:110612953:mpeg21:a0048

Article in "De grondwet", issue 12 Feb 1918. A Dutch language newspaper published in the USA. I translated the article from Dutch to English:

The grocery store of Jacob Elzinga, corner South Burdick and Cork streets was destroyed by fire last week's Thursday evening. The shop, located a little distance outside the city, burned down completely. Neighbors who came rushing to the alarm, tried to extinguish the flames with buckets of water from a nearby stream, but were only able to save the house and the barn. The stock of groceries was also lost. Mr. Elzinga who tried to extinguish the flames with a blanket, received burns to face and hands. The damage, partially covered by insurance, is estimated at $ 1.700.

RE: Mary Brewster Pic Authorization
Thank you for the picture of Mary Robideau.

I was revieweing your Find-A-Grave profile for Helen (Ellen) Robideau Stafford. She is my M-I-L, Shirley's, mom.
The profile states her name as Helen Robideau. This is an error. The only record showing her name as Helen, which is an error, is her marriage record to George E Stafford. Ellen is her official given name.

Ellen and Mary had no middle names, even though all other siblingss did have middle names. Shirley said it was because Albert and Mary Ann Robideau did not know they were having twins they used their choice of Mary Ellen, one for each girl. Albert Robideau had two sisters by the names Mary and Ellen Robideau.

Also you show Ellen's birthplace as Grace Harbor in Keewenaw, Michigan. This is an error.
Most records show Onaway as Ellen's birthplace. But the family did live in Grace, Presque Isle County, MI for a time. There is a Grace Harobr Road here.

Thanks for your work on OUR family tree.

Arthur Johnroe
Hi! I am a new member and just looking around. I noticed that the info on Arthur Johnroe was not complete. He and Florence had two other children plus she had kids when she married him. Wasn't sure if this info should go to you or not. Arthur was my husband's grandpa

Mary Brewster Pic Authorization
Hi!
I would like to use your picture of Mary Rabideau Brewster to add to my Ancestry.com family tree for her.
Her twin Ellen Rabideau Stafford is my grandmother.
A beautiful picture of Mary. It is the only one I have seen. My mom would have only been 9 years old when Aunt Mary passed away.

James Arsneau 66780028
I photographed a headstone for a James G Arsneau at Oak Ridge (Bay County MI). I posted it to your memorial 66780028 however the dates are different. Mine reads 1918-1978. Yours 1921-1979 (but the article submitted reads 1978). If this is not your James George Arsneau, just message me and I will remove the photo.
