Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please feel free to contact me to exchange family information. I add primary references when I can to each record to ensure as much as possible is posted. I also freely posted my information on Ancestry and other sites so you may search the names of any posts for greater details on those public trees. I also love to receive information on these ancestors. You may use any information and photos I have posted. If it is your ancestor too, please contact me so we can share and exchange information.

I am an avid researcher and Past President of the Maryland Society Sons of the American Revolution (2006-2007), War of 1812 Society in Maryland during the Bicentennial (2012-2015), and Sr. President of the Thomas Johnson Society Children of the American Revolution (2008-2010, 2016-current) and many of my posts related to soldiers of these American Wars or my own family's ancestors.

Sandra Myers Bellflower
Myers/Moyers
I am looking for information on a Casper Myers/Moyers (b abt 1765 VA) that married a Tabitha Spradley.
I do not know any dates for her. They had 3 children, Ruth B, Thomas, and Jacob.

Ruth B was b in Va abt 1794
Thomas b Sullivan Co TN abt 1796
Jacob b 1797 Sullivan Co TN.

Tabitha dies and he marries Abigail Mason or Moyers.
Casper dies in 1818 Grundy Co Tennessee.

My main research here is this Tabitha Spradley, as I am unable to find any clue of her except for a time line on Roots Web.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give us.

Regards, Sandra Myers Bellflower

RE: Wilkinson Family
I have information on the Wilkinson family on my Jackson-Dell'Acqua Family tree on Ancestry.com. It would likely help with your research. Gianna

Daniel Wotring
Daniel Wotring's father, 2LT (John) Abraham Wotring is buried in the Pioneer Cemetery at Aurora, WV. See memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=wotring&GSmid=47174080&GRid=76532096& . His headstone reads Abraham Wootring and not Wotring like the family has since spelled the name. Like many other immigrant families, the family name of Wotring is spelled in numerous ways including but not limited to Vautrin, Woodring, Wootring, Watring, and Wotring. Over the years in census records, the name sometimes was spelled phonetically by the census takers because the family may not have known how it should be spelled and in the same family, various children in the same family may have used different spellings. Remember they spoke German and Wooting, Woodring, Vautrin, Watring, Wotring was all the same family, just different spellings.
