John Kirksey
Liz, thank you so much for doing the research and sending me the information you have found. I was able to locate John Kirksey in both the 1900 and 1910 census listings. The different ways they spelled his name was a challenge! By 1910, his wife was referring to herself as a widow, although John was still living! I appreciate the time and effort you have expended looking for this "lost" man! Jane

RE: John Young photo request
Liz, you were right about the name Rufus. The john Young in my family tree didn't die until 1971 in Grand Prairie, Dallas County, Texas. He had a older brother Rufus Willis Young that died in 1954. One of the reasons I had asked for headstone photo was to clear up the confusion. Rufus Willis Young already has a Find A Grave memorial, an I have asked the owners of this Find A Grave memorial 43738833 to delete their memorial. An the headstone request will get deleted as well.

While you didn't to take a photo, you did help in clearing up a Find A Grave problem.

RE: John Young photo request
Liz, what was the Find A Grave memorial number. Just want to make sure that we're talking about the same person.

You posted a photo for Joseph Aaron Parker. What does 1533 mean on this stone? Where is his name or other stone?
Thank you
