I'm creating memorials to honor those who have completed their journeys here. I believe the Find A Grave burial registry helps us to preserve history and is an extremely useful genealogical tool. I especially love to hear from folks who have found a family member or friend through a memorial that I created, that gives real meaning to this work. If you have any corrections or additions to suggest on memorials that I have created, I will take care of them, usually within a week. If you want any records transferred to you that are not in my family, please do not hesitate to ask.

To my friends who have decorated the graves of my precious daughter, Tammy Jo Modglin, and my Mom and Dad, Dorothy Darlene Brown and Carmel Garth Brown, and my sister, Judith Ann "Judy" Brown, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness is very much appreciated, as I decorate also for as many as I can, too.

God Bless All Of You...

Uriah Weaver
Glenda, I am going to send your memorial back to you because it is not the right family for my Urias Weaver. Mine had a bunch of children too, 12 of them. There are several more listed but no Margaret Duckworth. Hopefully someone will come along that knows exactualy who they all are. Sorry, it was very generous of you.

RE: Veryl Weaver
Glenda, I would be thrilled to have them believe me. Thank you for being so nice. I looked on your file and wondered if you were a Weaver. There were two major Weaver families in Ohio and it is hard t sort them out.

I will do my very best for you and Veryl.

Veryl Weaver
Glenda, I would like to ask for Veryl as I can add 5 generations up to 2 Grandfathers who served with the Berks Co., Pa Vol. Militia REV WAR and a couple of generations back from them. Or if you want I can send all of it to you but there is a lot. Please consider my request.

David Alexander Deparcq
Dear,
I'm working on a family tree of my Belgian family Deparcq.
Meanwhile I found that David Alexander Deparcq is the brother of the grandfather of my grandfather Deparcq.
In the archives of his native village I found only his birth date back 25/09/1795 Zarren Belgium, but no further data on studies, departure for US..his life as priest at Loretto...
Via searching on internet I found the accompanying info back about the history of the St Augustune church, the life of Karel Nerinckx and some info on the Loretto Community website.
I would very much appreciate it if I could receive some more information about his life and his death ( death print? Burial place? (Photo's)

Many thanks in advance.
Best regards.
excuse my spelling errors because my native language is Dutch

Father Deparcq who had labored for twenty years for the temporal and spiritual welfare of the Friends of Mary, died at the age of sixty-nine years, toward the end of the same year, 1864. The sisters entombed his remains near those of their beloved founder, Father Nerinckx, and the following epitaph marks his resting-place:

In memory of Very Rev. David Alexander Deparcq, who was born in Belgium, Sept. 25, 1795. Came to America in 1818. Was ordained priest at Bardstown, Ky., in 1819, and labored in the missions of Kentucky most zealously during 44 years. Having spent his life in the noble discharge of his many duties, the saintly missionary retired to Holy Mary's hurch, Calvary Convent, to spend the evening of his days; there, after a linger-ing illness, borne with patient resignation, surrounded by his spiritual children, and fortified by all the aids of Holy Church, he calmly passed to the presence of his Creator, on Nov. 9, 1864. This memorial is placed as an humble tribute, by his grateful Daughters of Loretto, whose Ecclesiastical Superior he was for 20 years.

RE: Bennie Blevins
no need for transfer. NO relation just a cemetery where my wife has many relatives buried. Thanks for the correction. I went ahead and connected him to his parents.

Hello Glenda,

First of all, my prayers for you and your husband. I know just how much time is involved with what you are doing. Lost our daughter to cancer three months before Ken died.

Please do not worry about transfers..you have quite enough on your 'plate' now. I was just working on my Wiley line, doing cleaning, etc.

I will keep you in my thoughts as well as prayers.

Keep in touch.

COLE family in Indiana
Hello Glenda, I was researching on my Cole family. I am researching to connect all family members, and I ran across James Cole, and I see that you do not have the birth dates to many of the family members; if you are not related to the Cole's and if you would be so kind as to transfer them to me, I will be able to go ahead and get them connected with family members as well as research their dates of birth in Ancestry. However, if you are related, I will be sure to send you all the information for their updates. Thank you for any consideration.. Julie (Eskridge) Taylor. Married to Roy Cole, and have 2 sons Steven and Matthew Cole.. which I am hoping some day they will get interested in their family.. My Find A Grave #47008461.. Thank you.
