i do not like the new find a grave web site !!!

i give god the praise and glory for all things.

like everyone else, I do make mistakes. if you see one i,ve made i have no problem correcting it if you bring it to my attention. i think our loved ones deserve the respect we can give them through find-A-grave. sponsor a loved one.

please don,t add a bio to the flower section of a memorial that i have created, send me the info and i will add it with proper credit to you.

if I have added a photo to a memorial of yours you wish me to remove, please let me know along with the f.a.g memorial number. i try to get as many photo request as i can. if you have a request for a photo that has no directions or map to the cemetery, in most cases i will just pass it up. so, if you will add directions to the cemetery beside your request you might have more luck getting a photo of your stone.

if you add a stone photo to a memorial that is much clearer than the one i have on it,
please let me know and i will delete my photo rather than clutter up the memorial. Please ask before using one of my cemetery photo,s. I have done the leg work the least others can do is ask.

I sometimes send out obituaries to a memorial, this is to help connect deceased family members.

I want to thank everyone that has help link family members to their memorials. thank you one and all.

Dewey Spears
How do I add 2 of his children to his page that are still living? Is there a way to do this? If so, please let me know.
Thank you,
Patti Wilds

Mike, I agree with you on the new format. I looked at it several weeks ago and I did not like it. So far, I have not been forced to use it.
Yours, Lawman

Mike, I would appreciate your transferring management of the memorial for Lucy Florence Spears (111820325) to Patti Wilds. Her contributor number is 49250685. You transferred Dewey Ester Spears to Patti within the last four months. I do not know why she did not ask for Lucy to be transferred to her at the same time. Perhaps she had not found her memorial at that time. Patti is a granddaughter of Dewey and Lucy Spears and she lives in the area where they are buried. The memorial for Dewey Ester Spears is the only memorial she is currently managing. Lucy would double her work load! Yours, lawman P.S. I would ask to have Lucy transferred to me, but only if Patti had not asked to manage Dewey's memorial already.

Thank you. I will be speaking to his mother in the coming week. She still misses him very much after all these years. His death was quite a shock to the entire family, especially his grandfather Dewey Ester Spears, who lived nearby while Charles was growing up. Dewey had had enough tragedy in his own life, he did not need a grandson to die.

Charles Howard Richie was my second cousin. I am in constant contact with his mother, who currently lives in Georgia. We have talked about Charles and how he died during a firefight in Vietnam.

His military service record can be accessed by using this online address:

Once you are on the right site, click on the link to "the database page for Charles Howard Richie." The link will take you to the information about his death in Vietnam.

Yours, lawman

headstone picture
Hi Mike --

I wanted to thank you for the picture of Marlin Chill Brackett's headstone. "Chill" was my maternal grandfather (my mom was his youngest -- Wilma Gene Brackett Redd).

Best to you
