Just starting. Wanting to Honor those that have gone ahead of me on this path and those that carried and walked alongside me, acknowledging the timeless value of love and gratitude.**********************************Story of the WIND CHIMES;My dad could not pass wind chimes without testing 'em out, much to the chagrin of most everyone else in the stores. Late in his life he purchased the BIGGEST,LOUDEST, most beautiful windchimes. The kind that sound like church bells. After he passed mom asked if I wanted them, they were sitting on a garage shelf believed to be much to loud for the close residential setting. It was painful to know how he had loved them, and been to concerned with others to let them play. It was much the story of his life, being diagnosed with cancer at 57 and finding out he had gotten it from chemical exposure during his time in the Navy, for which he so proudly served. Watching him tell everyone he was "better" just days before his death, telling me later,in tears, how hard everyone worked for him. Writing me a note to "get some sleep" finding me there in the night, after waking up never being able to speak again from being put on life support against his will. Always worried he was a bother to people. And yet so generous of heart and deed to others. So I brought those beautiful loud wind chimes home and hung them in a tree that I see all the time, and I let them sing HIS song, as boldly and loudly as he wants.Sometimes I cry and sometimes I smile when I hear them. But I ALWAYS WANT to hear them. ************************************************* Spending some time here now makes me so appreciative and humbled by the many acts of kindness I have been the beneficiary of and endless others I have witnessed. My heart renews.During a rough patch in my life I have found others that I hoped to help with a word of encouragement, but found that instead they helped me, with thanks to.......................... Adelle Jenkins# 69848725 and her beloved Matt.Remarkable.and Miss Leola "Lee" Williamson Ragucci along with her family for inspiring me with the love left in the memorial by son Mario. Adelle and Miss Lee are listed as Friends I haven't met. Someday**************************************************sorry to have to include this but I have had personal photos copied and used inappropriately so please obtain permission on personal photos, many have close living relatives to be sensitive of.Headstone photos can be used for genealogy purposes without permission. Thank you
