|DAVID CHRISTENSEN||WAJ OLIVER|
HI CANDICE, MY NAME IS DAVID CHRISTENSEN. I AM A CONTRACTOR. RECENTLY I WAS DOING SOME EXCAVATION AT THE CORBETT BUILDING ON CORBETT AND PENDLETON STREETS AND FOUND A BROKEN METAL GRAVEMARKER WITH WAJ OLIVER BORN 1829. I HAVE TRACED THIS TO YOU. I WOULD LIKE TO SHOW THIS TO YOU AND DISPLAY IT AT THE CORBETT BUILDING OR RETURN IT TO YOUR FAMILY. IT IS INTERESTING BECAUSE MY MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME IS ALSO OLIVER. E MAIL IS DNC727@GMAIL.COM OR CALL MY CELL 503-572-4573 THANK YOU DAVID

Hi, Candice. I've been attempting to document sections of River View, and I'm glad I found some of your relatives there. I went ahead and transferred those to you. According to the Oregonian, W. A. J. was first buried at Lone Fir Cemetery. The obits for Catherine and Leslie do say they are buried at Greenwood, but I think it is part of River View now. I will check to be sure, and will let you know if it is not. Thank you for contacting me.
