RE: Memorial Transfers
Second, Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

So according to the above I can't take possession of my aunts, correct?

You did not transfer my grandmother: Minnie Martha Schmidt 23153308.

You did, however, transfer Willie Hagemeister 23153309 to me. Don't know him. Perhaps it was a typo from my grandmother's number.

Thanks and I am grateful for your help.

I am the keeper of the family genealogy in our family. 48889690 is my number.

23153306 Infant Daughter of Walter and Minnie, would have been my mother’s sister, my aunt.
23153479 Delores Velma Schmidt Nolte – my aunt. There is no one in her family interested in the genealogy site. They have deferred to me.

23153252 Hannah Nilsson Schmidt – maternal great grandmother

23153160 Elizabeth Dramberger Knippa – paternal grandmother
23153159 Gerhard Paul Knippa – paternal grandfather

RE: Rev. Henry J Murphy
Here is the info I received from our Archives department:

"Fr. Henry Murphy used two different middle names over the years both James and Joseph. He was born and baptized with the name Henry James. However, on his application to Maryknoll, and therefore subsequent Maryknoll documents, he used the name Henry Joseph. That is why the biography is listed as such.

I hope this information helps.

Warm regards,
Jessica

I will add the information to his memorial as well. Thanks for bringing the issue up for clarity.

Thank you. I will contact Maryknoll archives and have them double-check their records.

Rev Henry Joseph Murphy # 95757257
Hi Chuck,

Thank you for your message regarding the middle name of Fr. Henry Murphy. After reviewing my records, including his official Maryknoll biography, which I have now included on his memorial page, it appears that his middle name was indeed Joseph, not James, like his father. I have also located an online copy of his record from the social security death index, and it does not appear to include a middle name with is listing, as seen here:

United States Social Security Death Index
Age 79
Given Name Henry
Surname Murphy
Birth Date 21 Jun 1926
State Wisconsin
Last Place of Residence Maryknoll, Westchester, New york
Previous Residence Postal Code 10545
Event Date 12 Feb 2005

Even with an additional social security record showing his middle name as James, I think I will show preference to the Maryknoll archival record. Thanks for your input!
