Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love hearing old stories and history and am so grateful to Find A Grave for posting pictures and cemetery locations so that I can locate some missing members of my family. Encourage your children to ask questions and tell stories so that they can continue to enrich their lives & their children's sense of family. I find peace walking in the cemeteries and searching for names and taking photos to add to the Find A Grave forum.

If you are sure the death date is 1859 and not 1867, I will change it. The stone shows 1867.

You have sent me an edit requesting that I link Cordelia Hawthorne (1864-1922) as the mother of Connie Young (1921-1995). Please note that Cordelia would have been 57 at the time of Connie's birth. I think she is instead Connie's grandmother, and that Connie's mother was Ada (Hawthorne) Young.

Sue Ellen I have a question on Susannah all I have on her is what the cemetery book has might not be right I don't know, but if she died in Howard County that is about three hour trip from here by good hiways, in 1840 I would think it would take days to bring her here and in 1840 there were no trains around here till around the civil war or after. got any ideas Ted

RE: Brent H Harrison mem# 13593241
My apologies. I try never to assume anything, but since they had a son named Brent and this Brent is buried right beside them, I assumed it was the same person, even though the middle initial is different. But, then again, that happens a lot on gravestones. I have removed the relationships.

RE: Thomas Herrington
Thanks for your follow up. I, also, checked the different trees
trying to sort out his birthplace and still not sure what is correct.
Think I will leave it for now. Teamwork, that is what it is all about! Appreciate your input

Hi Sue,

Wondering what source you have found to change his birth place to New York? If he is in your family, glad to transfer. Let me know.
