As a young child I always went to the cemeteries with my parents to remember those in our family that had passed away. Now as an adult I still go to the cemeteries to visit my relatives. I have learned so much, by figuring out how I am related to these different people that I never knew. It's so exciting to find a long lost great great grandparent, that wasn't lost. I just didn't know where they were. Happy dance time when that happens. Researching: Weilbacher, Scovill, Albright, King, Hoffmeister, Hunt, Parker, Bornowski, Camp, Dunaway and associated families.|
I have found out in my Scovill line I come from three Mayflower passengers; John Howland, Elizabeth Tilley, and Richard Warren.
You are welcome to use any of my photos, this is why I put them out there. Phyl

|hungrycoyote||Gilbert Keith Scovill|
I see the photo of the headstone, for Gilbert Keith Scovill's memorial and am scratching my head because the name and dates are an exact match to Gilbert Keith Scovill's grave marker at Florida National Cemetery, where U.S. Veterans' Gravesites records indicate that he was buried on 11 Dec 2003. The problem is that I have found his daughter's memorial at Find A Grave ... which one is where he is buried and she should be linked to?
I suspect one is where he is buried, and the other a marker, or he was buried in Florida National Cemetery and then subsequently moved.
P.S. I am posting this message on the wall of the manager of the other memorial too. It might be appropriate for both of you to create a manual hyperlink to the other memorial.
|C. Brown Thomas||Re: "Kentucky Jake" Hayden|
Thanks for graciously offering to transfer the memorial for Jacob "Kentucky Jake" Hayden (#9759835) to me.
However, since I'm not a direct descendant (my ancestor is this man's younger half-brother from Pennsylvania), I'll leave management of Kentucky Jake's memorial to you, or to any direct descendant who arranges transfer with you.
Many thanks for all you do on Find A Grave! The work you do is important to so many.

Ok. Is Christina P. W. Elizabeth's sister? I don't know that much about the Petri Family so that's why I'm asking.
Just wondering, are you related to the Petri Family. Elizabeth Petri is my great great great great grandma. Saw your memorial you made for her nephew
Very nice! Doesn't seem like it's been more than a year already.
