I am interested in the family history of my family & my husband's family.(I am originally from Adams,MN & he is from Hayfield, MN) We now live in New Ulm. Some family names are Hemingway, Lee, Hagen, Peterson,Aarhus, Gordon, Huseby,Torgerson,Lewison, Anderson, Johnson, Share|
I first became interested in family history when I took a women's study class entitled "Our Foremothers". One assignment was to do an oral history with an older relative. Hearing the stories that my mom, my grandma & my husband's grandma had to share was priceless. The past became alive and names & dates became real people. I think my quest is bringing these stories and people to the younger generations that we will not lose this connection...and that our foremothers and forefathers will not be forgotten.

|Brian Goss||Elizabeth Daily|
Elizabeth is my Great Great Grandmother and I have been searching for her birth date, place and husband. Her husband was James Kelly and I will be searching for his birth date and place.
Elizabeth`s father was a member of the 27th Inniskilling Regiment of Foot and died of his wounds at the Battle of Waterloo.
Any further info would be welcome and I can share all my Kelly info with you.

Thank you for your adding photos of Frank' and Mabel' grave markers onto their memorials.
|Elsie Harmon||RE: Annetta Platten Maynard|
I inherited all the pictures from my grandmother Ida. Nettie's picture was cropped but I decided to use the original. It looks better.
Only one more to go. Mary Platten b. Sept. 3, 1857, died Dec. 1941. Husband James Henry Risebrough b. Jan. 12, 1861, d. Nov. 27, 1950 in Port Perry.
Thank you again.

Thank you so much for adding the cemetery marker for Annetta. I had it in my tree and couldn't figure out how to put it on FindaGrave.
You are a doll.
Thanks for this. I am now living in Fairmont and working half time as the priest at St. Martin's Episcopal. Not doing much graving any more except for the congregation here.

I am interested in finding relatives of Adam and Catharina Meyer. This is my great great grandfather. His son John Meyer was my father's grandfather. Any more info about them, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for putting the grave info out there. I knew he was buried in New Ulm, MN.
Again thank you!

Thank you for the Picture's.
Thank you for the obituary for her memorial. Her husband and his other wife are my direct ancestors. It's been very difficult to find additional information on her, due to Frederick marrying two women with such similar names.
When I was a youngster, my grandmother, Esther (Fahning) Kottke Gareis, took me to the old section of the New Ulm Cemetery, where there were a bunch of old white stones within a chain link fenced area. Most of those stones have since disappeared. I'm sad that we dont have photos or other records.
I've sent the update to my mother, who will be thrilled to see more info on another Kottke.
