Bio and Links
Bio Photo My sister, Linda Nelson, and I have been doing genealogy research for over 30 years. We have trekked thru cemeteries and libraries from South Florida to Tennessee.
We found our grandmother,Burma Mize Lock, who had been missing for over 35 years alive and well living in Alaska. We were able to visit her for several years and get to know her before she passed away.
We found our grandfather,William Henry Scarbrough, who had been missing since my father was 17. When my father died at 58 he had no idea what had become of his father. I found that he had died in Pennsylvania in 1973. He has no grave or headstone to claim. He had been cremated and because no one claimed his ashes they were placed in common ground.
I think that was the most disappointing moment in all of my years of research.
That is why I think this site is so great. Linda and I have set a goal to record and contribute each and every grave of every one of our ancestors that we can find. And those who don't have headstones will be given one when we are positive of their placement.

RE: Elizabeth Eleanor Johnson
My first cousin has done extensive research into our family that traces us back into the 1400's.
William George Johnson and Mary Higdon Johnson are in that line that Ellen carries into the Peavy line.
Archie's parents are believed to be buried in Wilcox Co. AL. they were Milton and Irena Rena Vincent. He was the son of Joshua and Martha Smith.

Rascoe and Harrison photos
Hello again,
You have taken such wonderful pics of these families graves. I am working on a tree for my brother in law, Hubert Harrison, who is in poor health. I am trying to get it done for him asap. May I use some of your amazing pics on my tree? I have also sent a message to your sister regarding the photos she has listed. Thank you for all your hard work. We live in AZ and it would probably not be possible for him to get home now. Thanks for all your hard work. Brenda
