|Diane Gravlee||Clyde Dieffenderfer grave too|
When we found Georgie's marker, we also found his brother, Clyde. I've created a memorial and added the photo of his. All Dieffenderfers are now photographed in the cemetery. Be glad to transfer over to you ...jut use the edit tab and Other to request it.

My pleasure, Leslie!! When I see it's you, you know I give it my best shot!! The ones you requested were all very easily located on three plots, with two of the adjoining!!! I start a new job next week and am going to be a grandfather soon - LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

Thank you for grave marker photo for Francis. I appreciate you taking the time to do this. I was hoping it was a military stone and it is!

Thanks for taking this photo. Do you know why it is showing up sideways?
I manage Alfred Wilson's memorial, he was killed in Civil War during the battle at Vicksburg. I was excited to see the photo you added of A.S. Wilson and thank you for that. However, if you read his death notice published in our county, Hancock County, Indiana in the Hancock Democrat, it states he was killed May 23, 1863 not in July.
I called Vicksburg National Cemetery some time ago and inquired about Alfred Wilson being buried there. They told me they had no record for him and if he died there, he may be buried among the unknown soldiers buried at Vicksburg.
Alfred's father, Isaac Wilson, is a brother to my 3rd gr. paternal grandfather, James Wilson. It is interesting that the day and year (23rd 1863) is correct but not the month. Maybe July is incorrect and this is his tombstone you added. Alfred served in the 8th Infantry Indiana. If you have email and wish to correspond, you will find my email on my F.A.G. Contributor page. I am interested in what you think concerning this. Thank you, Greg
