I recently took over the genealogy research that my late sister had begun, so I am kind of a "newbie" at this stuff, but I'm having a great time. A couple of discoveries have helped keep the fire going, and finding a photo of my great-great grandparents' headstone on Find A Grave was very exciting! I was born and raised in suburban Chicago, and was a programmer/analyst for our local high school district before retiring in 2001.
