Bio and Links
Bio Photo There is a word for men that lose their wives, wives that lose their husbands, children that lose their parents.

There is no word for a mother who loses her child... 💚💙💜

How you make others feel says a lot about who you are

If I have created a memorial for a family member of yours, don't hesitate to request a transfer.

Any photo I have posted on Find a Grave is intended to be used.... Please feel free to use them in personal use and documentation.

Searching means finding the other entry, even though it may contain an error and working together means sending an edit.

Links, Corrections, Transfers and/or additional information
If you will please use the "Edit" tab located on each memorial, I will be more than happy to correct, edit or add information to a memorial that is meaningful. Abstracted lists should be formulated into complete sentences prior to submitting for addition to the bio. I will not add all of the information from the past ten census records that have been released or any distasteful or disturbing messages. Please remember these are suggestions, not demands.

Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to. Please do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate. For further information on this, please refer to how Find a Grave handles duplicate memorials.

Lastly and most importantly
There are so many absolutely wonderful people that use Find-A-Grave! I am very appreciative for all of the suggested corrections, additional information and photos that have been provided. Please don't allow the rude, abusive and sometimes rather bizarre behavior of individuals to curb your enthusiasm or your want to help others.

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

- Hunter S. Thompson

Lunt photos and memorial
Thank you for your help! The photos are wonderful and thank you for setting up the memorial for Henry and Alene's son, Mark. This is a part of my family I never met. It's wonderful to have this information to add to their records.

What a researcher you are !
Please make the connection to Pauline LaChusa's aunt.

RE: Pauline LaChusa Childs
Well the 1930 census shows her at the Sherman Institute boarding school in Riverside California at about ten years old. Her obituary said she went to Phoenix in 1937 and attended school there.
Phoenix Indian School was a boarding school for Native Americans like Riverside. She was married the next year.

If I have it pegged right her parents divorced about 1928 when she was around 8 years old more or less. Two Riverside classmates at the boarding school also had the surname LaChusa, they were about five years older that Pauline. One was a fifteen year old Delfina LaChusa (sister ?). Younger siblings may have attended Riverside once they became of school age. So Pauline may have had moderate contact with family members.

Sure thing! I will be there for Memorial Day observance. Please don't do a photo request. As you can see, I am rarely able to claim requests there. I'll add it to my list.

Green Hills' own database has only this info on him: Burial date 3/22/1963.

California Death Index has: b. 2/26/1896 in California, d. 2/23/1963 in L.A. County.

I'll let you know when the photo has been added.

Hope to see you soon!

RE: Pauline LaChusa Childs
It is always nice when links are made and families, even in death, are reconnected. For the family researcher who is not very skilled it is a Godsend.

Thanks for your work on the LaChusa family.
