I enjoy doing Genealogy, and always seaching for any and all relations of our families. I started doing this about 12-14 years ago and have enjoyed every minute of it, meeting new relatives, and visiting many of the cemeteries of East Texas. I joined Find a grave about 9 years ago, and it has been a tremendious help in my family searches.|

Hi Bonnie; you added a photo on the above memorial of a "unmarked grave" picture. Asking if you would please remove that as I have added a photo of the marker. thanks
|Annette Jackson||Elmer G Wood|
I was wondering, may I have Elmer G Wood switched to me? He is my uncle and I would like to put an obituary on his page and pictures. My dad is Ivron Clay Wood. Thank you.
|Porter||Strange name Douglas D Gilbert|
I noticed on memorial #14057980 for Douglas D Gilbert and #14057985 for Wilburn C Gilbert the memorial says "Double stone with brother."
As unusual as it may seem, census records indicate that Douglas D Gilbert was female and Wilburn Gilbert's wife. Her maiden name was Douglas Dale Davidson. She was the daughter of Douglas M Davidson and Lois A Simpson. I guess they were expecting/wanting a boy?
If you have info that contradicts that please let me know.

Bonnie, I noticed that you added a flower to Viola's Find A Grave Memorial. I thank you for that, she is my great grandmother.
I have a question for you, do you happen to be related or have any knowledge of Viola parents or her burial location? Anyone that I might contact to find out?
You can send me an email if you'd like at email@example.com
Just Curious,There are four Higginbotham buried in Coffeville Cemetery, Ore City, Upshur Co., TX.
Find A Grave#6681551,was a WWI Veteran with Military Head Stone, Wife #6681549, no Headstone, Funeral Home Marker only, #6681548, per records about 20yrs in the U.S. Army, no headstone, funeral marker only, wife #6681566 Funeral Home Marker Only. I thought all Veterans & WIFES ARE ENTITLED to a Military Headstone.

How sure are you about the parentage of Wilma (Gregory) Turman? I've been researching the Giddens family of Red River County for some time, and in both the 1920 & 1930 censuses of Smith County, Mary Elizabeth (Giddens) Gregory, widow of James Richard Gregory (who d. before the 1900 census, possibly in Hunt County), is shown as the "mother-in-law" of Floyd Turman -- and therefore the mother of Floyd's wife, Wilma.
I haven't been able to locate the burial sites of James R. Gregory or Mary E. (Giddens) Gregory on my in-person research trips in north Texas, so I can't supply a Find-a-Grave link for them, but they're probably both buried at Manchester Cemetery in Red River, apparently in unmarked graves.

One Guy T. Ferguson's memorial, you give entire birth and death dates. Since these are not on his marker, where did you get them? You have him born Sept 8, 1900 but marker has 1906. In my data I have he died on Nov 30, 1980 but this could be in error. Guy Ferguson was my Uncle and I would like to confirm his correct information. Thanks. Jean Taylor

Dear Bonnie, The location of the Ashland cemetery is wrong. It is listed as Gilmer, when it is in Ashland. Since Ashland no longer has a post office, the closest town is Diana 75640. We are trying to get that changed to Diana. Trisha, The Spirit Chaser seems to think it was set up by MB, who has passed now. Will you go in and see if you can change the location. Thanks Mary
