Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a direct descendant of the Copp, Brown, Peck, Ward, McIntyre, and Shaw families on my father's side. Roloff, Crescelius, Garbrecht, Pfersich, Zastrow, and Ziemer families from Prussia on my mother's side. I am making a special effort to photograph stones at Terre Haute Cemetery in Henderson County, IL. Many of the stones are faded and breaking off. I want to preserve them digitally before it's too late. My Peck & Shaw ancestors rest at this cemetery, so it is very important to me.

As with everyone else, if you find a relative's memorial that I have created, you can have it to manage. Just drop me a note via Find-a-Grave. I am creating memorials because I can get to these cemeteries to take the pictures. I appreciate the memorials people have made for my family members who are buried far away. Thank you, all!

Carl and Charlotte Carlson
Hi, Shawdau,

Thank you for all your work, especially for creating the memorials for:
Carl A. Carlson (152225461) and his wife
Charlotte Carlson (152225491).

They are my great-great-grandparents, and until I found your memorials, I didn't know his death date!

Would you be willing to transfer them to me when you get a chance?

Best,
Diane Blomgren

RE: Thank You
It's my pleasure to "reunite" families here on find a Grave. I love seeing the families all together again. It's like solving a jigsaw puzzle.

Cemetary Photos
I am unable to pull up some of the photos of the grave sites. One example is for William A. Kent from Galesburg, IL. All I see is the broken picture icon. Is it my computer, the website?? Any idea would be appreciated. Diann Gravino

Hampton B Winn #124016905
My husband is part of the James Winn family. Hampton B Winn is the son of James Winn (1793-1864). We would very much like to have this memorial transfered to me.

Thank you,

Louise Markley Wynne

RE: Emma Citie Quesenberry Akers #90369824
Thanks for getting back to me. I've been in contact with Darla Phelps and the two ladies are almost certainly the same person. I'm trying to find microfilm of the Blandinsville newspaper. I'll let you know if I succeed.

Emma Citie Quesenberry Akers #90369824
I see on Find-a-Grave that you created the memorial for Emma Citie Quesenberry Akers buried in the Glade Cemetery in Blandinsville, Illinois.

I am doing research for a lady on Emma’s second husband David Stewart. Do you have a complete obituary for Emma? As you may have already seen, there is a newspaper obituary on Find-a-Grave for a “C. Virginia Stewart” buried in the same cemetery. After finding her Illinois death record on-line and then the guardianship papers for her three children, I have reason to believe that Emma and C. Virginia are the same person. I need Emma’s obituary to confirm my idea. The creator of the C. Virginia Stewart memorial is no longer accepting messages.

I would certainly appreciate any help you’re willing to lend me.
