Duplicates: It's never my intention to create a duplicate on purpose. If you come across a duplicate, please use the Report Duplicate Tool. I happily make transfers within the 4 generation Find A Grave Guidelines which are: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the EDIT tab to ask for EACH transfer and please include your member number. I will consider transfers outside these guidelines but PLEASE STATE YOUR EXACT RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
Tip: Please include the gravesite location when requesting a photo. This can be done by calling the cemeteries directly.

Headstones were grave markers placed at the head of the grave (some graves also had a "footstone" marking the other end). Gravestones were flat markers placed over a filled-in grave - these were very large, covering the full size of the grave. Tombstones were the actual lid of a stone coffin. There are other kinds of graves and markers too, such as mausoleums and sarcophagi. A cenotaph is a marker when no body is actually in that burial location.
