picture of Ruth Louise Morris Harter and Leslie A Harter
Are you inactive? There are pictures that were taken by you of Ruth Louise Morris Harter and Leslie A Harter that are now a BLANK with a little red x on it. There is no picture showing for either of them. I was wondering if you still have the pictures and can put them on their findagrave pages or see why they no longer show. Thank You ------Ruth Louise Morris is my father's sister. It would mean alot to me

Geo. Reed tombstone
Thank you for the picture of Geo.Reed's tombstone. I will get with Shelli Steedman about the duplicate memorials. I didn't have a record of the Tioga cemetery book, but I was guessing that the book had incorrect date for Geo. Reed.

Thank you very much for checking.

RE: Sarah Simpkins
Thank you for much for the pictures of the Simpkins tombstones. I really appreciate the effort that you took for the pictures!!!

I believe that the tombstone is the correct one. Sarah Elizabeth Saylor was married to George Washington Simpkins in 1869. George Washington Simpkins was born 9/12/1848 and died 1/14/1913 - that corresponds with the tombstone. Sarah Elizabeth Saylor Simpkins died 6/22/1898 and that corresponds. The part that looks wrong is Sarah age - 19 years, 8 months, 14 days. Sarah was almost 50 when she died - 49 years, 8 months, and 14 days - 19 should have been 49. Thank you for checking.

RE: George Reed

Thank you for the picture of George Newton Reed Jr tombstone. George Newton Reed Jr was born and died in 1894.

The other memorial for a Geo. Reed died in 1984. I sent a message to Shelli Steedman who set up the memorial for Geo. Reed d 1984 asking if it was possible that the death date was transposed. Shelli Steadman said that the cemetery book lists Geo. Reed died 1984 and that I should create a new memorial for my great uncle's son, George Newton Reed Jr died 1894. (I didn't want to create a duplicate memorial if the existing memorial was correct with just the wrong death date.) Shelli also said that ask for a picture of the tombstone - maybe that tombstone would give more information. The picture of the tombstone shows that dates that the memorial has that I set up. The original maybe a duplicate or maybe there is another Geo. Reed d 1984 in Tioga Cemetery. I live in Oklahoma, so I have no way to find out or to go to the cemetery.

Thanks for asking. I do believe the two memorials may be duplicates, but I have no way to know.

Reason and Levisa Vert
Karen, thank-you so much for finding my ancestors graves. I don't know if they put up new stones or what because I had read that their stones were vandalized. It means so much that you took time out to take pictures. I have Reason's and now I have Levisa's also. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

RE: Reason Vert
Karen I appreciate your trying. I know that there was a vandalism problem but didn't know if Reason and Levisa Vert's tombstone were among them. They were both buried there. Many thanks for what you can do. Shiela
