Bio Photo "Close to my heart you'll always be - Genealogy is the connection to you and me!"

Your tombstone stands among the rest, neglected and alone. The name and date are chiseled out on polished, marbled stone.

It reaches out to all who care, it is too late to mourn. You did not know that I exist, you died, and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you, in flesh, in blood, in bone. Our blood contracts and beat a pulse, entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled, one hundred years ago, spreads out among the ones you left, who would have loved you so.

I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew, that someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you. (Author Unknown)

BTW for those of you sending all the corrections regarding only one name in the first block of records for searching ease, even when the individual has 3 or 4 names, as in good Catholics who always have Marie or Joseph in their names (which is usually the first name) - be careful what you ask for - I'm working on the corrections, however if you search on Marie or Joseph now you get over 2,500 of my names alone. Good luck finding the individual you are looking for, especially if it's Marie and you don't know how many times she married. I find those of you insistent on this interesting - especially as Find A Grave refuses to fix my husband's relative who has no first name - his name is Spotted Tail and because he's famous his record is handled by management - they have Spotted for his first name and Tail for his last name. Not CORRECT, but what the heck, it fits in the box.

Guerin related
Hi Suki,
I see you have left virtual memorial flowers for Guerin's buried at St. Josephs. I am assuming that you are related to them. I am related to Narcisse Guerin who was the father of J. Sigismond and others. I'd like to find out if we are related and have helpful information we can share.
Can you email me? jbtoo@verizon.net
Thanks,
Jeanine (Guerin)

Margaret M. Gillmore(#132437651)
Hi Suki !!!--I had a cousin, Margaret Marguarite Gilmore born 23 Feb 1901 in Duval Co.,Fl.
The 1920 USFC list her at age 18 in Duval Co., Fl. working as a actress, movie pictures. (I can find nothing locally about her ?)
The 1930 list her in Detroit, Mi.--no occupation.
The 1940 USFC list her in New York City, No Occ.
Her mothers obituary(Edna J. Bowden-Gilmore) list her as living in New York City with the name of 'Marguarite".
Then she disappeared.
I found your Findagrave entry in Sun City, Az
I couldn't find anybody at the Sun City Players Community Theater(Gloria Russell)She was in charge but had not been there long enough to know or ever hear about 'Margaret or "Marguarite" Gilmore.
There is a obit for (maybe) her as passing away on 4 Aug 1974 in a hospital in Phoenix, Az. It list a husband and son but didnot note a surname for them.
My hope is that you (or anybody) may have made contact with any of this family or have any further knowledge.
Thanks, Bob Sikes, Jacksonville, Duval County, Fl.

RE: Isaac & Celina Giguere Bouffard
Hi Suki!

I don't have an ancestry account, sorry. Well, I registered but never paid for it and still not using it. I use www.myfolks.com which is 100% made in Québec. I need an e-mail to grant you access on this site.

Talk to you later, once again!

RE: Lionel Bouffard 1942-2017
Lionel's parents were Raoul Bouffard, married on October 10th 1936 to Marie-Blanche Poulin.

Raoul Bouffard's father was Alfred Bouffard, married to Marie Boucher. This Alfred was Théophile Bouffard's brother.

So Lionel Bouffard's grandfather was the brother of Théophile Bouffard. There goes the family link to you!

My grand-father, Ernest Rousseau, as he was an orphan, was raised from his 5-7 years old to his majority, by his grand-uncle Alfred Bouffard and Marie Boucher.

This is why we had so many Christmas and Fall Pow-Wow partys with that Bouffard family. We all played music...guitar, fiddling, mandolin, accordeons, singing and dancing together. Great ol' time!! Lionel was the life of the party...all the time, smiling, poking, telling jokes.

As again if you have more questions! :)
