I don't know if there is a findagrave record for Ellis (Ellie) Lewis Bailey. I have not created one. His death and burial were investigated for several years as he drowned in 1920 while his ship was in France. The letters I read did not have the correct information about the spelling of his middle name and, in some records, his first name was listed as Edward. I can create a findagrave record with the information I have. Are you a relative?

David, as you requested, I have deleted the duplicate entry for Amanda McCrory Bailey. Would you please add her additional children to her entry: David Ervin Bailey 1881-1931 (Findagrave # 71210267), Ellis Lewis Bailey 1888-1920 (buried in France) and Katie Bailey Josey 1898-1993 (Findagrave # 136755350). Thank you very much. Bonnie Bates Schell

My great grandmother was lona Granthan Jarrell Dyess, who apparently married Buford W Dyess. I come from the line of her first marriage on the Jarrell side. Her son Daniel Jarrell and his wife Margie adopted a boy named David Roy Dyess born August 1959. I am working on trying to find that link. Are you related to that line?

Hello again. I see you visited the memorial page for my Great Aunt Lula Henderson. I was wondering if you were related to Winifred Dyess, 1779-1854, who married David Henderson, 1775-1825. They were in Ware Co., GA at one point and wound up in Madison Co., FL. They were my 4th Great Grandparents.
