My maternal great grandmother started my interest in my family history. She told me stories about when she, her parents and grandparents moved from Indiana to Kansas in covered wagons. The wagon train encountered peaceful bands of Indians along the way and her stories continued. She has lead me to my journey of uncovering the lives of my ancestors. After 30+ years of researching I have lots of records, stories, facts and pictures and now I am sharing what I have discovered with family and friends. Some of that sharing is showing up on Find-A-Grave.com. Happy Digging!|
Names that I am researching: Lohr ~ Leisman ~ Pierce ~ Biggs ~ Wortman ~ Wright ~ Campbell ~ Wilmoth ~ Love ~ Stultz ~ Harrison ~ Hudson ~ Rourke ~ Dryz ~ Thomas ~ Davis ~ Hockett ~ Waldrop and many, many more ... <|:0}
I live in Oklahoma and visit cemeteries in the surrounding counties near where I live to take pictures. I also have family in the surrounding states and will take pictures when I visit them. If I take a picture and post one for you, you may use them for your genealogical records.

I am sorry that I sent the OGS to the public message instead of to your email or the edit feature. I should have read your info first.

The Okmulgee Genealogy Society is doing a major update to the Society's 1974 inventory for Woodlawn Cemetery in Okmulgee. It looks like you may have several memorials for Woodlawn. If it is okay, as we find information that may appear to conflict or perhaps add to information you originally posted I will forward the information to your attention.
Find A Grave Memorial# 99876326 Lena Maxey
Photo has been uploaded by OGS and upon examination the death year is 1917 instead of 1911. (This can be seen when comparing the year to the date July 17, also in the photo)
If you have original information that conflicts with anything we may send your way, we would love to know.
Thank you in advance for any help you may provide.

|Rev. Cindy Simpson||Pleasant Hill Cemetery|
I have been looking for the records for the Pleasant Hill Church/Cemetery for many years. Do you have any idea where these records may be? I have several family members there, but the head stones cannot provide me any information for my family research. Please reply to email@example.com Thank you

|Bob Atherton||Birthdate for Susannah Hockett Milner|
Would you be able to tell me where you found the birthday of 18 July 1808 for my 3rd great-grandmother, Susannah Hockett, Memorial# 96733874?
There are 3 dates listed in different family trees on Ancestry (and elsewhere on the internet) of 7 July, 14 July, and 18 July.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
|Cindy Nicholls||Sarah Bonta wife of William Hart|
The grave marker attached to the memorial for Sarah Bonta, #90135472, wife of William Hart, cannot be her grave marker beause it states born 22 March 1839, died 6 July 1859. Sarah E. Bonta, who married William Hart was born about 1800.
|Jackie Smith||Mattie Peevyhouse|
When photographing the headstone of Nettie I also photographed one for Mattie Peevyhouse 1906-1967 that was next to it. Let me know if you want that photo also.
