Bio Photo I am living in Jackson County, Oregon and love to help people find their families. I have been searching and connecting mine for 10 years.

I will be more then happy to do retakes if the original pictures do not meet your expectations. I will also add historical or personal information about the person, but would prefer to transfer your family members to you.

But please use the edit tab in the upper right corner so I can fix the mistakes or transfer.

Stanford Florenten Berry Redfield
I found Stanford Florenten Berry in Redfield Cemetery. I believe he was the killer of my great grandfather Levi Henry. I didn't know if you wanted to link the two or if that is possible. Below is one of the newspaper articles from my great grandfather's page. Thank you SO MUCH for this picture. It was of great interest to me to know how long this man lived.

Levi M. Henry Killed By Sanford Berry, His Brother-In-Law, This Morning

Men Quarried Over a Dog Several Weeks Ago and Fight Followed Berry Shot Henry Down With Shotgun and Fled Sheriff Brewster on the Scene.

Occurred in Grant County.

A message received at the Sheriff's office here this afternoon from the sheriff of Grant County asking that bloodhounds be sent to the scene of the killing near Jefferson Springs. He stated that the killing occurred in Grant County, a short distance from the Jefferson County line, and that Henry was accompanied to the scene of the killing by his brother who was armed with a shotgun but did not use it. The officers are searching for both men. As Jefferson County has no bloodhounds, the Grant County sheriff's office request could not be granted.

Sheriff Brewster and Deputy Sheriff C. C. Green left at noon today for Jefferson Springs upon receipt of a message stating Stanford Berry shot and killed Levi M. Henry at Butler's mill, five miles west of Jefferson Springs, at 9 o'clock this morning. A message from Jefferson Springs later stated the officers had reached the place and were making an effort to locate Berry, who disappeared after the shooting and had not been arrested when the officers arrived.

Berry and the man he killed were brothers-in-law and each man was about 25 years of age, both being members of prominent families in that section of the county. Because one of them killed a dog owned by the other several weeks ago they quarreled and fought, which is the only trouble which is known to have occurred according to the report which was received here this afternoon. Berry secured shotgun, went to the mill where Henry was working this morning and after speaking to the other men working with Henry, raised his gun and shot him dead. Berry left the scene and at last reports had not been arrested. A message was sent to Sheriff Brewster in Pine Bluff and he left at once with Deputy Sheriff Green for Jefferson Springs.

56924107 Daniel Edward Pomeroy
Daniel Edward Pomeroy was my maternal grandfather. He was the son of Daniel Pomeroy and Harriett Deuel. The memorial lists her name as Henriette but Harriett is on her death certificate.

Harriet Deuel descends from Mayflower Pilgrim George Soule. Her descendants are eligible to apply to the Mayflower Society.
