HI! Is there any records for this person that is buried in the Berringer Cemetery? If there is could I ask you to please look at them? I am working on my family tree and have come up with two birth years.
The mormon church has him listed as Johann Gottfried Axthelm with a birth yead of 1776 but the cemetery has the date of 1782. any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Vivian Leo Jacobs McGinnis violin
Hello all,
I am not part of this family but I believe I may have an item that once belonged to it. I purchased an old violin from a flea market over twenty years ago for my girlfriend (now my wife.). It was quite old then and in need of some repair. The violin has seen little use by us and has spent most of the last 20-25 years in a closet. Recently my wife has shown a bit of interest in playing it again so we dug it back out.
The violin has a small sticker inside that says "Made in Germany." This leads me to believe it's pre-WWII as it doesn't mention East or West. There are other stickers inside the violin which I haven't investigated as of yet. Anyhoo, more importantly there is an old sticker on the case which says "Miss Vicki E. McGinnis 220 Judkins Avenue Lima Ohio"
I did a bit of sleuthing of auditor records and found a Paul McGinnis (recently deceased) who had lived at that address. Turns out his mother is Vivian Leo Jacobs McGinnis who I believe to be the same individual as the violin owner "Vicki." I've found a number of names where "Vicki" is a shortened version of "Vivian."
Considering that Vicki passed in 1948 I'm thinking this violin must have been tucked away for a number of years before falling into my hands.
I can send photos of the violin and its case to anyone who may interested.

Hope this find excites some of you as much as it did me. I don't know if any of Vicki's grandchildren (or great grandchildren) are on this message board or not, but it seems like they might be interested in seeing their grandmother's violin.

Thanks for your time,
Aaron Gord

Elizabeth Lucretia Shaw #64441335
Some of the information you have for Elizabeth is incorrect. She is the daughter of John Shaw Jr (not Jonathan) and Pamelia Messenger, as are the siblings you list for her. Except Silvester Shaw who is the son of Jonathan Shaw (1787-1852) and Ruth Welch Shaw (1786-1853)

Please let me know if you receive this message.
Thanks

RE: Matilda Clapper Grave
You're welcome for the photos. If you are interested in the "Clapper Family", these were other headstones close by that I uploaded photos for, Elmer, Edith, Winifred, Jennie and George Clapper.

Plummer Cemetery
I see you have created some memorials for Plummer Cemetery in Auglaize County. Can you tell me where this cemetery is located? It doesn't happen to also be Hopewell Cemetery, does it?

Thanks for your help.
