I am 70 years old with a love for family research|
that started about 12 years ago. I come from a family of 12 children and was #7 in line of birth plus the first girl born to my mother. There are only 9 of us living now, spread out in several states from one coast to the other. Find A Grave has been a true help to me in my research and anyone who downloads names, dates, photos, etc. are to be thanked for their kindness. The photo is of my mother with her first born, about 1937.
Not to upset or belittle anyone, but I WILL ONLY MAKE PERMANENT TRANSFERS WITHIN THE GUIDELINES OF FINDAGRAVE.COM that being 4 GENERATIONS: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for EACH transfer. PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED and your member id#, without these, your request will be deleted.

You are welcome, I have been going through some old files of Fred and Nellie Dawson's. Lester's wife Thelma was a Dawson, all buried at Dunlap. I found an obit for Lester that had his parents and two sisters listed. Their memorials list their parents, etc.

I believe both headstones are for the same person. Sarah Alice Nail born ~1880 to James A. Nail and Sarah Jane Davidson , married Hiram Ridge 22 May 1902 in Daviess county, Indiana. They had one child, Cecilia and then divorced.
Sarah Alice (Nail) Ridge then married John M. Hinton 10 Jun 1924 in Daviess county.
Terre Haute, Indiana

Find A Grave Memorial# 123354963
Hi, Julia -- I'm researching this family and have not yet found the name of Vada's husband. I have found her working as a maid in Louisville, Kentucky in 1937 and listed as Vada G Knear....so they must have married sometime between 1930 (she is not married in census with her widowed mother in Taylor, Harrison, Indiana) and 1937 when she is in Louisville KY. Her Social Security application lists her as Vada Hendricks Knear as of March 1939. But those are the only two references I can find with regard to her marriage.
Do you have any other information?

Thank you, you are one of my Find A Grave heroines.

I hope you don't mind but there was a photo request for Moses Robinson at Dunlap Cemetery in Dennison, IL. You had pictures for his wife (which reflects his name as well), Juliet already so I copied them to his memorial. If that is not satisfactory or you would rather upload them yourself, please let me know.

I have contacted Charles but no response as of yet. I would appreciate the transfer of the memorial, thank you for the offer. I did search for the obituary and it is available for a fee through the library, I will order it if that is the last resort. I will update you if I get it. Thank you for all your help!
Thank you so very much for a tremendous and loving job done. People as you are Treasurers!
