|I first discovered this site in 2005. It had just recently opened up to 'Non-famous' graves, and like many others I saw the possibilities.|
It has become a wonderful site, serving the needs of both gravers and genealogists (and, yes, I know it is primarily a grave registration site!).
I particularly pay tribute to the dedicated and hard-working volunteers who fill grave photo requests.

|Sharon||Fred & Eliza|
Hi Gary thanks for letting me know. I come through the line of Fred & Eliza Harris. You seem very confident about the name originating as Corrigan, do you know where they originated in Ireland? If you like to discuss records I can be reached at email@example.com. Thanks again and hope to hear from you. Sharon

Hi noticed a lot of records added by you for Curry/Currie. Also Corrigan, are these family interests? These are family connections of mine. Look forward to hearing from you. Sharon

Thanks for your prompt and agreeable reply.
|Gene Zubrinsky||Abigail (Bartlett) (Stebbins) Strong's Birth Data (Memorial #37275721)|
What, please, is your source for the birth data you provide for Abigail (Bartlett) (Stebbins) Strong (Hartford, 6 September 1636)? Your memorial for her father, Robert Bartlett, indicates that he didn't remove from Cambridge, Mass., to Hartford, Conn., until 1639. Citing Mass. Bay Colony Records, 1:233, Robert Charles Anderson has Robert Bartlett still in Massachusetts on 5 June 1638 and in Hartford by February 1639 (_The Great Migration Begins_, 1:117, 119). Anderson, the ultimate authority on early New England genealogy, estimates Abigail's birth date as "say 1637."

You're right. Careless mistake on my part.
|Fitch Hyatt||Isaiah Pemberton the second|
Good afternoon GWC,
I was looking at your information of Isaiah Pemberton the Second and I see you put down a different death date than my own, do you have any source for this? From the information I have, he died on July 13, 1794. He is my great great great great great grandfather.

My pleasure! Thank you for providing the parents links!
|Sue Caraway||John Edler Find A Grave Memorial# 43048159|
John Edler (1833-1866) is buried in Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee, and you have established a memorial for him. I was hopeful that you might have a picture of the headstone. He is my mother's great grandfather. I was hoping that his actual birthdate might be recorded on the headstone. We have been trying to track him from Germany to the US, but have been unsuccessful in the effort. Any help you could offer would be appreciated. If you don't have any connection to John Edler, maybe you'd consider transferring management to me.
|Janet Marie||RE: Lone Pine Cemetery|
You're very welcome. It was a pleasure working with you to resolve so many remaining "issues".
I heard from Patty. The other John Bancroft was a grandson of John B. Bancroft. You can read her message on my contributor page.
I've contacted the person who created Helen Jane Fenton Roger's memorial, but I haven't heard back yet. I'll let you know if I do.
Next time I'm near Lone Pine, I will stop by to see if I can find Mary J. Pierce near Mary F. Pierce.
Thanks again for all of your help!
|Janet Marie||RE: Helen Fenton Rogers|
I concur. I will contact the person who created the memorial.
