|If you have extra information or any corrections for me to make on the memorials I have posted, please feel free to use the 'Suggest a Correction' feature. I will gladly correct any errors I have made, but please provide links to materials supporting your suggested correction.|
Please don't use my photos for duplicate memorials or for anything that will gain you profit, without prior written permission. Other than that, you are free to use my photos. In other words, feel free to copy any of my photos for use in your personal family tree (including trees posted on ancestry.com).
PLEASE VISIT http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=vcsr&GSvcid=317110
BEFORE POSTING ANY OF MY PHOTOS ON ANCESTRY.COM. If the photo you wish to snag is in this virtual cemetery, then it is *probably* already on ancestry.com. I do NOT wish to see multiple copies of the same image in search results on ancestry.com .... it makes things confusing.
Any requests for me to transfer my direct family members will be denied. Though I MAY make transfer if you are more closely related than I am.
I will gladly transfer memorials for people who aren't closely related to me. Everyone is related to me in some way, including you! (Hello, cousin!) I would rather spin off management to you for your great-great uncle than retain management for myself of my twenty-second cousin, twice removed, so feel free to ask.

|Tammy ||Correction for Stephens Hoyt's origins|
I have spent a good bit of time, energy and money researching this Hoyt family. I have documented that Stephens Hoyt's parents were Jedediah Hoyt and Anna Raynsford of New Marlborough, MA. In fact, Jedediah was been documented as a "new" patriot for Daughters of the American Revoluion (DAR) in 2013. Anyone may view Jedediah's information within the patriot index on the NSDAR website.
Stephens Hoyt was born ca. 1770-1771, eldest of three children who also included brother Ransford and sister Anne.
Jedediah had three wives: Anna, Thankful and Betsey.
Jedediah Hoyt died before 9 April 1792 in Luzerne County, PA.
The often-cited claim that Stephens' parents were Stephen Haight and Lydia Allen is fiction.
