I will transfer if not related to me or my family in any way, if you have any info that pertains to any memorial that I have added, let me know & I will add it to the memorial, please use the EDIT tab in the upper right corner of the memorials for any requests or to send info.

I use a number of sources for the info I add to my memorials that include photos of headstones, birth & death certificates, obituaries, WWI & WWII draft registration cards, family trees, Ancestry.com, etc. I cannot guarantee the accuracy of some of those sources. Death certificates are great sources of info but they are often in error, especially the older certificates. I have found that the death dates listed on the certificates are generally accurate & if they're off, it's usually only by a day or so, it is usually the grave marker that is in error when there is a conflict with the death certificate.

Matthew Russell
Hello Audrey!

I've been researching Matthew Russell who married Mary Reed and found that you manage his Find A Grave. I think there may be some confusion because he is listed as passing away in 1862 in Blount county, Tennessee but is found very much alive along with his wife in Owsley county, Kentucky in 1870.

Jonathan Hartsock
Hi cuz. It's been awhile. I'm still searching. Question... A couple of weeks ago, I re-visited the John Hartsock Cem that I created in 2013 along with my Jackson Co, Metcalf cousins. Three stones side by side Jonathan Hartsock 112783149 & Turners. Trying to figure out if Eva 177703897 is Jonathan's daughter. 1930 census shows Jon & Eva, father & daughter. 1940 has Jon, daughter, Eva & husband Tommy Neeley. I can't find any marriage of Jonathan or any info on Eva "Turner". HELP... Otherwise I'm doing well & pray your health is the same. Still visiting cems every chance I can.

Nancy J. Bowman Clark
NOTE from Kay Haden: I have been a Bowman researcher for 20 yrs. Nancy Jane Bowman was never married to Abshear - her marriage record to Jackson Clark, ClayCoKY, Aug23,1877, states her name as Nancy J. BOWMAN. If she had been married previously, it would have been Abshear in the marriage record. Also in 1880 Census,Bull Skin,ClayCoKY, she is with Jackson Clark & they have 1 child Rhoda E, age 1. No Abshear child is present & he would have been a 3-yr-old. In 1900, Nancy J Clark stated she had 2 children, but only 1 was living. Rhoda has records for many years, so she was the surviving child. Sudie was born & died between 1882 & 1895, the deceased child. 2 children, no Abshear child.
