Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started doing research when my Mother's aunt handed me a family tree research project she had done. I expanded it. When I found this web site I was very amazed and pleased. I have found cemetery sites with family in them, have added cemeteries and names, and have met some family members, that I didn't know I had.

Sarah Kosboth Henry
Sarah's niece says that this info is all wrong so I have deleted it. Sorry.

"Sarah Henry, 96, of Martville passed away in the Cayuga County Infirmary Friday, June 9, after a long illness. She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Levant Kosboth, both from Oswego. She lived most of her life in Martville. Her husband, Clark, passed away several years ago. She was a member of the Martville Methodist Church. Survivors include a granddaughter, Mrs. Edward Tyler of Auburn, and several nieces and nephews." (from the book, "Martville, New York Facts, News and Gossip" by Dorothy A. John L Oliver #29675216
Deb, Would you please add a note that John's monument is erroniously marked with a death date of 1827 (3years before he was born) instead of 1887. His spouse, Olive's birth date was erroniously marked also (1824 instead of 1834. Her mother (my grt-grt grandmother) would have been only 11yrs old in 1824. I added a note to hers after someone pointed it out to me. I think whoever chiseled them must have been drunk!
Thanks, ~~Hank~~

Crapaud People's Cemetery ~ Lowther
Hello Deb. Just a heads-up, you've duplicated two memorials in Crapaud People's Cemetery of Canada. One is Herbert Lowther, the other is his wife Amy Lowther. (By the way, I've stood at her grave, and her gravestone reads Amy Ann Lowther 1864-1924, makes no mention of "Charlotte" being a component of her name.) No offense, I'm just trying to be helpful... if you'll fix this, it will save admin from having to merge them.

Rev Parley Brown
I read your bio of Rev Brown my great great great grand father and I was interested in his involvement with the Underground Railroad. Can you steer me to any references to this connection? Our branch of the family has no information about this and any history written or oral is deeply appreciated. I am descended through Elon Rouse Brown and we have a number of younger people in the family who have become interested in family history. It is fun for all of us to feel a personal connection to events important to history in a broader sense. Thanks for posting the Brown information. Robin

Joseph Smith Axtell
Hi Deb,

Please remove the memorial in my management in Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield PA. for Joseph Smith Axtell He is my husband’s ancestor. We have finally been able to confirm that he died during his move to Warren county, Illinois and is buried with his wife Elizabeth in Roseland cemetery in Warren county, Illinois. Please see Find A Grave #111639893. Photos of both Elizabeth and Joseph’s Axtell's gravestones are in place on the memorial site! I would SO much appreciate your help in clearing up the mystery of his burial. He indeed was very involved with the Presbyterian church in Fairfield but is not buried there.

The will of Joseph S. Axtell was recorded in Mercer county, Pennsylvania Book 3, Page 336 found on FHL film #878967. It was written on 4 March 1851.

It is concerned with the disposal of his property and arranging his affairs in preparation for a move to Illinois. It mentions his wife Eliza; son, Samuel; eldest daughters Mary, Elizabeth, Ruth, and Eunice. Other children not named to be made equal.

Recorded on 23 June 1851, and registered in Mercer county, Pennsylvania, 8 Aug 1851.

Thank you so much for your help and your very hard work at helping to document family burials
