RE: Stant
Yes, I'm related! Viola and Sherman were also my great-grandparents. Their daughter, Mary Ann, was my grandmother. She married John Edward Bell, and their son, Robert Leroy Bell, was my father. One of his brothers was also named Sherman. I've tried to find information on Viola's parents, but so far it's a dead end.

RE: Julius Moore
Martha Moore Brandt was my mother-in-law. Julius was the remaining sibling since Uncle Bill died. He was ready to join the rest of his family I'm sure.

Related through marriage--my mother-in-law's brother. Elizabeth was his only wife and he had no children of his own. I'm not surprised they were so well liked--we loved them in LA also!

RE: Julius Moore
He was named after his grandfathers, Ramon Navarro, of Juarez, Mexico, and William Julius Moore, of County Cork, Ireland. He was a beloved uncle to his nieces & nephews, including my kids. He always came to all the family events and he will be missed.

Lona Pearl (Hancock) Hooten, Memorial #81623567

Dear Midgie:

Would you please post the Headstone Photos from Lona's Memorial (#81623567) to her husband's Memorial, #143643714, in the same cemetery and owned by someone else.

Or if you'd rather, give me permission to use the photos ONLY on her husband's Memorial.

Thanks Much in Advance,

Sharon J. Moreland Wilson

Stanley Hodkinson
Do you know if Sadie ever remarried? I see by the voters lists she was still Hodkinson in 1949. She was living at 57 Grant St. in Toronto.

Stanley Hodkinson
Oddly, there are two marriage registrations for Stanley and Sadie, one on 29 May 1922 Sadie M. and one on 30 May 1922 Sarah L. The first gives Stanley's occupation as telegrapher and the second as seaman. I believe the first to be the correct one.
Also, Stanley's arrival in North Sydney, N.S. on 16 May 1923 from Nfld. en route to Toronto to visit his brother Lewis Hodkinson gives his wife's name as Sadie Muir.
The 1921 Census for St. John's lists Sadie Martin born Apr. 1895 in St. John's Nfld. daughter of William Martin born Scotland and Bridget Martin born St. John's.

RE: Stanley Hodkinson
Hello Midgie,
No I am not related to him. I just did some searching on Ancestry.ca for you.
It appears he may have been born in Heswell, Cheshire, England to Lewis Hodkinson and Maria Jane Jenkinson and been previously married to Sarah "Sadie" Muir Martin of St. John's, Newfoundland.
But, I can't prove this is the same man who was married to Evelyn Agar, so have not made any changes to his memorial page.
