Hello I'm a descendent of Daniel Davis (memorial#103174901). I couldn't help but notice in the biography on his findagrave memorial, you mention that he assisted in forging the shot for the Come and Take It cannon. Would you be willing to share your source for this information? I can't seem to find it on my own. Thank you so much!

You say in a flower you put on his Find A Grave site # 43702779 that you are a great+ grandchild of his. I am looking for more information on his family. He was married to my 2nd cousin, Jemima Bray. Thank you for your help - Nancy
|Paul Ray||RE: Research for family RAY and STAGNER|
Hi! What a nice surprise to find you thru this site.
Do you live in/near to Bakersfield? There is a family reunion the end of this month in Bakersfield. It would be nice for you to be there.
If you can't do this, we'll have it, again, in 2 years.

Hi! My name is Paul Ray and I am the grandson of Minnie Patterson Ray. Mary Belshe Ray was my great-grandmother. Epser Ray, her son, was my grandfather and husband to Minnie Ray.
If you have questions re Ray or Stagner families I might be able to help.

Thank you so much for getting back with me. Hopefully I will be able to figure it out. My mother would have known, but, unfortunately, she passed away last June. I'm kicking myself for not asking her sooner :( Thanks again!

Hi I'm wondering if you can help me out. I'm trying to link my Grandfather's parents on his memorial. His name is George Elliot Shepard #170400363. His father was Sam Keaton Shepard and according to my research, his mother was Minnie Alva Patterson (McFarland.) I'm not too sure if this is accurate, though, after looking at her Find A Grave memorial. Looks like she remarried but the dates don't match up with the info I have. Here is the link to what I found. Thank you for any help you can provide. http://mclemoregenealogy.org/getperson.php?personID=I647&tree=McLemore

Rachel Baker's history is detailed in the Alamo connected website Sons of the DeWitt Colony. Her brother Issac Baker was one of the Immortal 32 and died at the Alamo She also was one of the women in the Runaway Scrape. The movie "True Women" starring Dana Delany covered this in our history. Also, Clements, Baker, Davis, Kellogg, Gaston, and others all in our line are from this area (Gonzales, Tx) and can be researched at this site. This site is huge and contains links to books, diaries, and everything one could hope for on these people. Lots of this material is at the Alamo library and you can see it firsthand.

Could you please add Sarah Catherine Stegner to the list of children for the graves of Jacob Stegner and Anna Maria? Sarah was born June 7, 1807 and died December of 1879. She was the wife of Jacob Shultz.
Thank you. :)
I am sorry, I guess I didn't recognize the Gen Story Girl from correspondence. I didn't make a note of that. Thanks for the reply!!!

Just wondering how you connect to Walter at Lordsburg,New Mexico. Assume that it would be from his first wife, Nannie?
