Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've always been fascinated with graves and old cemetery's. I enjoy researching family history and adding as much information to a memorial that I can. If I add a memorial, I will make sure in the future that I get a photo of the headstone and also link families together where possible. I've seen to many memorials added that dates are not put in and no family links are added. If you find a memorial that needs to be transferred to you, please request and I'll be glad to do so.

I am currently researching and adding obituaries to established memorials for several contributors, Dottie Gilder, Janice Cathcart, Wendy South, Robert Strickland, Craig and Tonya. They seem to have a great deal of the older memorials, I find reading the old obituaries interesting and the way they were written is remarkable, so much love in them. So you might see my name on memorials as a transcriber.

I would just like to say that another contributor, Rainy, is sending messages about duplicating her memorials, which I have not. But, I don't get the opportunity to respond to her as she has closed her message board. If you are looking around and see any duplicates that I have created please send them either by the edit button or my email address that I have posted and I will gladly remove mine.

If you have time please visit

Kay, A few minutes ago talked to the F.H. and they said they do not have an obituary for Larry. Perhaps none was submitted. PHS

Kay, you would have plenty to go on to put up a memorial right now.with what we found. Then you could refer to the links your created on his parents and brother Bob's memorials. If you are like me, you many forget ones you created and ones you didn't, they were yours.) I do not subscribe to the PNR either. But found no mention of him at Stones or Parks Funeral Home. I will keep looking and send you anything I find. Hugs.

Hi, Kay. So glad to hear Jana is okay. I have often wondered. Thought about her last night when I heard about Larry (pretty sure he was related to Jana and you.) I will find it and send it to you, tonight if possible. Later, PHS

Ms. Thompson, I did not know you knew the family. If you went to school with Uncle Robert, I am sure you can tell some tales. Their older brother Gerald was my grandfather. Thanks again!

Lol. Yes. Last I knew she was moving. I tried to reach her a number of times( and even contact Maurice Eby but he never answered us). Do you ever hear from her? Her dad and grandparenst used to live across the street from 124 Fulton. Her mothers sister (Rose?) was married to John Leshevich (spelling). We also knew Elmer PHS 59. I think also, Leonard. (And before that Ellis (b. 1917 or 1919). our grandfather teased our grandmother about him because he had supposedly had a crush on her when she worked at the Pie Shop on the corner of Mitchell and Petoskey Street (old Firestone Store).

Tillie's Son, Mike D.
P.S. Good news! Connected Tillie to her son and his father. It just dawned on us that this needed to be done. (We knew Mike also.)

Bless you! We appreciate it so much. What a wonderful surprise to greet us this morning. Thank you! We will for sure take good care of our Tillie. And yes, we know the Lashmit's from long ago. Long story. Wonderful family. Also, there was a sweet girl who's a Lashmit (the daughter of John). She used to do many Find A Grave memorials and was one of the first friends we made on Find-A-Grave. Also, we looked at your profile just now and read about your sweet daughter. Our hearts go out you. Hugs.
