About #88186837
I've added the death certificate for my great-great grandmother Lena Goodrich. The death Certificate shows she is buried at Boonshill gravesite. Is CAthey cemetery considered Boonshill gravesite for african americans only. OR do you show african americans also buried at Boonshills Cemetery???

Antonio Gains (Gaines)
Hi Nora, Hope you are doing great. I have the Gains Family Cemetery on my Fall to-do list. He and other members of his family lived on a small property south of Howell in Lincoln County,TN in the 1880 - 1930 time frame. Do you have any info on the family or burials in the family cemetery? I know the approximate location but have little info on the family or burials.
Thanks, Jim

RE: Stella V Jones
Hi Nora,

I don't know McStella. I sent her a message regarding he duplicates (16) and have requested her to delete or delete and request ownership from you.

The duplicates are so confusing especially when parents and children are linked but not to the same one. Thank you for your help. I will hold off on taking over Stella V Jones until I hear from McStella.

RE: Stella V Jones
Hi Nora,

I had no idea that the people who posted the graves were the ones editing. I figured they had employees who were updating the info.

Either way your grave is the one that should be kept, as it has a picture of the headstone. The duplicate grave is 140547133.

I had submitted edits to that grave before I saw yours. I don't think they accepted yet.

My cousin Stella Velma Jones dad is Hannibal Jones 53582683 and her mother is Norma Bowen Jones 53582647.

Do I have to contact the person who made all the duplicates to ask them to delete?

Best,
Shelby

RE: Hello There
Hi Nora. How in the world are you? I haven't heard from you in ages. Last time I remember you were going to take care of one of your children who was ill. Hope things are better! Thanks for saying "hello"!

Lillie Mae March Briggs
Hi Nora, this is a heads up message.
I got a Find A Grave message from Find A Grave member, ACE - Angela Croom Ewing, who seems to feel I placed the above Mrs. Briggs and her husband, Thomas, at a non-African American cemetery, with incorrect or incomplete family links, and with a photo of a caucasian monument. You originated the memorial and links and I added the photo from Sulphur Springs Cemetery. I don't see a problem with the photo. Only you can address her other concerns. Angela has her Find A Grave messages disabled so I can't contact her to clear things up. Very frustrating.
BTW, I heard in a round about way, that some people were thinking about cleaning up the Patton Cemetery. Really needs it as you are aware.
Hope you are healthy and doing well.

Mr & Mrs. Thomas U & Lillie Mae March Briggs
These are my african american relatives. I have posted a photo of Thomas U. Briggs with proof showing that he used african american Gregory Howard Funeral Home and Mt Zion african american church. My relative Lillie Mae March was married to Thomas U. Briggs. You have a different caucasian gravesite tombstone falsely posted against Lillie Mae March Briggs # 76775327 who is also african american. Could you so kindly remove wrong links. Along with incorrect children are posted as wrong links.

Freedonia Alexander
Hi, Nora!

I see you have a memorial for Freedonia Alexander. I am grateful for her headstone picture, as I mistakenly thought she was a distant Alexander cousin, but after further detailed research it turns out she is actually my 3rd great-grandmother.

May I ask for ownership of her memorial to be transferred to me?

Thank you so much!!

THANKS
NOR,

I think it's great you have on your bio that any info you post is free to use. I thank you for being so giving and free. So many people are selfish and it's a blessing to see someone so generous. I have never used your info, but I appreciate you just the same.

GOD BLESS YOU!
