We were at Pleasant Hill cemetery over Memorial Day and took a picture of this gravestone you requested.
The stone is very worn but I believe this is the correct stone and is in the right location of the grave site.

You're very welcome. Unfortunately with that colour of light stone, the engraving is sometimes hard to read unless the sun is just right. I always try to get the details off the stone if I can decipher the printing. I could do that with this one. I'm glad I could help out.

RE: Ephraim Kimmel

Just sent obit & funeral notice to your e-mail let me know that you get them.

If you would like to try to find out more about the Kimmels & Howards our library has Quincy newspapers up to 30 June 1926 free online.

Google Quincy Illinois Public Library - scroll down their web page to Reference & Research, on right side in list is Quincy Historical Newspaper Archive click on it & then click read more.

Hope this can help

Take care Ken

Your very welcome, I also found his daughter Octavia's obit & funeral notice if you would like to have them. I would have posted them to her memorial but that contributor sticks to the rules & doesn't allow them.

Take care Ken
